Life was never easy, One time your family is loving, and caring. And the next? they just leave you like a piece of dirt on their shoe.
I never had the ironical 'Happy family' tag, My life is normally peaceful when my parents are gone. My family owns one of the richest companies in the world, and they want a boy to take over. We aren't Rich but we aren't poor, My mother and father neglects the fact im here because, they wanted a boy not a girl. They dont expect a girl to take over the position 'CEO'. But here recently since my parents have no one to help them with their business, lets just say it hasnt been as 'Popular' as wanted.
One day as i am reading a book my mother barges into my room.
"ARIA!!" My mother shouted.
"Yes mother?" I call back closing my book to look up at her.
"Why haven't you cleaned today! START CLEANING NOW!" My mother yelled once more.
"But mother theres nothing to cle-" I tried to argue back in defense which i oftenly dont do but i was right in the predicament.
"No. BUTS. My room is SO messy go clean it, I put this roof over your head and you can't even respect me?!" My mother said, it was obvious she was manipulating me and gaslighting me.
I bit my tongue and replied, "Yes mother." I wasn't about to point out the obvious, If i did it would have been another lecture from my father. Whom seems to not give a shit about me anymore.
My mother smirked as she thought she won the fight and, to make things worse she replied with a snarky attitude, "Good, and while your at it, get me wine from the fridge."
I walk off to her room to clean. I grab gloves because i have no clue where her clothes have been, and i grab the vacuum and i tie my hair up as i begin cleaning her room. It was messy, she had clothes all over the place. It looked like a hurricane came in and took everything out the closet and onto the floor. When i finish cleaning i walk to the laundry room an put her clothes into the washing machine, I put in detergent and a tide pod, to help god knows where these clothes where.
I walk to the kitchen and grab a wine bottle and a empty glass. I set the empty glass and the bottle of wine on the table as my mom smokes a cigarette in the living room.
My mother looked up with a death glare then back at he phone as if she was telling me to go away. I quickly walk off to my room and sigh, I say to myself, "Oh my god, I hate that woman.." I run my hand through my hair and take a deep breath closing my eyes. I knew this was only the beginning.
