Entry #12: D.O (Part 1)

No sign of Lay and Kai now... Half of the group is down or missing... I hear Kris soothing Luhan, Chen and Tao every night now. Kris seems out of it too. He's has too much stress watching all of us since Suho is absent as K's leader. We decided to skip school for another period of time until Kris can get everything together again. We didn't go to school for two weeks now to look for Xiumin, Lay, Kai and the others who are missing. One day, I received a phone call from Baekhyun. "D.O, can you come to the hideout? Me and Chanyeol have important news to tell you. Don't let the others know though, I don't want them to be worried..." I hung up and looked around. No one seemed to be in the mood and they were in their rooms sleeping. Blossom was in the kitchen washing the dishes with Shamaila. I left the house quietly and headed towards our hideout.

When I got there, Baekhyun was sitting on the couch eating chips and Chanyeol was staring at the TV. They saw me and I walked to the fridge to get some soda. "What do you want?" I asked. "We know a way to destroy Beth." Chanyeol said. I looked at them with a cautious look. "Aren't you guys poisoned? Is this a trick?" I asked as I backed up from them a little. Baekhyun sat up and put the bag of chips on the table. "We were, but we woke up from it the hard way. We were arguing about who is more handsome when we saw a shadow knocked us out." I watched as Chanyeol grabbed the remote and shut the TV off and continued. "We don't know who it was, but whoever it was helped us. He made us suffer intense pain and learn the nightmares of love. We felt like we were going to die... We learned about Beth and he told us to investigate Beth's hometown to find a cure to the poison." "How do you know that he wasn't lying?" I asked. Baekhyun sighed and said, "We trust him not because he saved him, but he felt familiar... He has the same radiance as Master." I looked at Baekhyun, "What? That's not possible. Master disappeared two years ago and his belongings were found on the edge of the cliff. He's dead." "Baekhyun's right, I felt the same thing too." Chanyeol jumped in. "Okay, let's drop this for now. What did you want me to do?" I asked. Chanyeol patted my back, "We want you to keep this a secret until it's time. We will try our best to find clues and come back with a solution." "Why do trust me of everyone?" I asked. "Because, we know for sure you don't tell people secrets until the right time. You are a smart person." Baekhyun said. I thought for a moment and finally nodded, "Fine, I'll do it. Be careful." They grabbed their backpacks and headed onto their journey... I watched as they went but I suddenly thought I saw a shadow... Must be my imagination.

When I came back, Tao looked at me as soon as I went to the kitchen. "I heard your conversation with Baekhyun and Chanyeol." He said. I stopped and turn to him. "I didn't mean to... I saw you looking suspicious so I followed you. " He continued. I thought for a moment. "Fine, whatever. You better not tell anyone yet or I'll break your neck." Tao nodded in understanding. "I will, for Exo." I patted his back and nodded. Tao asked me when we should tell the others. I sighed and said, "When it's time, we will tell them this..."
