Entry #6: Lay (Part 1)

Kai and Xiumin came home looking scraped up but they were in a good mood and talking about something... I decided not to ask what happened and continued to practice my dance. The doorbell rung and I went to get it. It was Blossom. "Kai left his wallet on the park before, is he here?" I called for Kai and he came quickly. "I owe ya one, Blossom. Thanks." Blossom smiled and she walked off down the street. I closed the door and heard a scream. Me and Kai ran upstairs and found Tao crying. "What happened?" I asked. Tao pointed at the tv screen. I looked and found it the news he was watching. Another victim... A boy was found dead because of loss of blood. I found it weird that it's been happening a lot lately. Now a second case on the same month... I felt nervous all of a sudden, I hope it doesn't get us. Vampires shouldn't be real...

"Lay, Kai, Tao, dinner's ready!" D.O called from downstairs. We got up and left the room. "Where's Chen?" Kai asked. "He left a while ago after a phone call." Baekhyun mumbled. Chanyeol patted him on the back. "Come on, Baekhyun. He had something to do... Just play your game with him next time." Baekhyun smacked the table. "I'm not mad about that, what's going on with him lately?! The phone calls, leaving the house, acting strange." Everyone paused besides Luhan who kept eating like nothing happened. I stared at Luhan and mouthed. 'What's going on? I know you're hiding something.' Luhan looked at me while drinking some water. 'A promise, can't tell no one, sorry.' I stared at him. 'Really?' He got up and left to the kitchen. 'Come on, Lay. You wouldn't break a promise.' I returned to the conversation on the table with Baekhyun in rage mode. Chanyeol was trying to calm him down but everyone else was not helping because they were all complaining about how Chen's been acting strange lately. Kris finally got up and shouted. "LISTEN!" They all stopped to listen to what he has to say. "No worries, I'm responsible of group M and Chen is in that group. I'll investigate this situation. Luhan, I'll need your help." Luhan paused and he tried to sneak upstairs. "Luhan, Are you hiding something?" Suho said. Luhan sighed and walked towards them. "Listen, my brain's been hurting a lot lately, I need some rest." Sehun walked over to touch his forehead. "Are you okay, Hanhan?" "Yeah, no worries Hunhun." He replied. I looked at Luhan. 'Really?' 'Just keep quiet.' Luhan glared at me. I grinned at him.

I went up to Luhan's bedroom. He was laying on the bed staring at the ceiling. "I expected you to come." He said as I sat next to him. "Then, you should tell me the you-know-what." I said. "Did I say I can't say anything? I promised someone." He sighed as he sat up. "Okay, fine. You just be careful about the others." I said. "Yeah, I know. No worries, I can read all of your minds, remember?" "That's what I hate about you." "Are you jealous?" Luhan teased. I laughed and went back to my room to rest for tomorrow.
