25. Rivals

"By the way, I want to meet you.. Again.. Next Sunday, here under this same tree, same time..go it?" Sarfaraz said while slowly getting up.

"O-okay but why?"

"You will know soon.." Sarfaraz replied and Zoya nodded.

Zoya also got up and said "allahafiz" Sarfaraz nodded and said it back with a smile and they both walked away to their house.

Zoya went back to her house and saw her mother was making lunch and Zara was reading a book and she smiled at both of them.
"Did you liked the breakfast?" Zoya asked.

"Yes as always.." Zara said and smiled.

Somewhere else..

"Zoya huh? Well.. That girl.." The boy kept his leg on the glass table and smirked. "Well she's hot."

"Hot? My foot! See dada, you have to do this for me, just take her out from Sarfaraz's life! He is MINE and ONLY MINE he can never be anyone else's" The girl said with a shout, her messed up medium height here, ruined mascara as she was doing the fake acting of crying and plump lips.

"Riya.. Don't worry. Leave it all upon me i will handle it! Zoya will go out from his and your life.. But i would like her in mine.." He said with a dark voice, his smirk never leaving his lips.

"Dada, seriously you like that girl?" Riya said with disbelief.

"Anyone can be head over heels for her, just fucking look at her body.. Damn I want her so badly.." He ruffled his hair backwards and loosened his tie. Riya sighed and said.

"Do whatever you want, just remove that piece of shit from my life!" Saying this, she went out of the room and closed the door with a loud thud.

✨Abhimanyu Singh✨

(Villain ahead) brother of Riya Singh. Wants to kill Sarfaraz and take Zoya. Underground mafia and #2 company in India. His company's name is Dark Soul. (#1 is Khan enterprises which is Sarfaraz's company)

"Gotta kill this Sarfaraz.." He mumbled under his breathe and took out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it up with a lighter and took it near his lips and starts smoking.

-at Sarfaraz's place-

Sarfaraz was in his company working when suddenly a call came, he picked it up and kept it near his ear.

"Yes?" His voice cold and dark.

"Long time Sarfaraz Khan.." Sarfaraz's hands stopped typing on the keyboard and his eyes darkened. No way this was happening. He quickly held the phone tightly and his other hand turned into a fist.

"Well well.. I know you will be shocked.. of hearing my voice but.. it is what it is.." A loud laugh was heard from the other side.

"Why did you call me?" Sarfaraz asked while gritting his teeth.

"Your new chick is just too sexy man.."

Sarfaraz got confused but his eyes when he understood what he meant. He knew he was mentioning about Zoya. And he got little scared, he couldn't let anything happen to her.

"Abhimanyu fucking Singh, if you dare to touch any of my loved ones AGAIN then you will find the devil inside me. And know this thing that soon you will be blind as I will pull out your eyes, from which you looked at her with YOUR FUCKING DIRTY EYES. Abhimanyu thanks.. I was finding you only and this helped me a lot."

Sarfaraz spoke in the most dark, deep and dangerous tone ever. But he was scared deep inside. His past still haunts him. He couldn't let anything happen like that to Zoya. Zoya was a precious diamond for him, if something happened to her he would never be able to forgive himself.

At this point, Zoya had become his life. He would always wonder what would she like and what would she don't. He would always think of giving her surprises, making her happy, finding an excuse to stay near her. All was going fine, but this one call was enough to make him feel like his entire world is shattering.

He knew Abhimanyu is a mafia but he didn't knew this that Riya was his sister and this was the biggest problem.

The root of this problem is Riya, and if he cuts this root everything will be solved. But cutting the root is not possible for him.

He had to confess to Zoya now. He wanted her to know everything, to make her aware of everything. He didn't care if she didn't loved him. He only cared if she is safe and sound. He got up from his seat and started walking back and fourth. He was having a headache, his mind was going insane thinking all of this.

Zoya didn't had a phone.

And he thought to buy her one, so atleast he could contact her. He wouldn't say everything all at once as he doesn't want her to be traumatized. Zoya doesn't know Abhimanyu and Abhimanyu is just so secretive he can just come acting like a stranger needing for help and Zoya being a kind soul will obviously help him!

Tracking Zoya, taking her, is like a piece of cake for Abhimanyu and Sarfaraz was well aware of that.

Right now, his mind was filled with possibilities of what could happen and he was getting more scared. He grabbed a water bottle and drank it half and breathed heavily.

"N-no! No.. I will not let him even go near her.. I will protect her, I will be her shield, her sword.. I will save her from everything.. She is my precious angel.. No one can hurt her no one!!" He threw a glass on the floor and it broke into pieces. He grabbed his hair in frustration.

"My angel.. Jaan..Don't worry.. Your protector will come soon! I will save you from everything.. This time he will not be able to hurt any of my loved ones, this time I will ruin him! He thought I was weak and vulnerable but now he will get the taste of his own medicine! Years before, he will regret his every action. I will make him regret, suffer, beg! He has to pay for his sins!"

He was just saying this words wanting to rui Abhimanyu at all cost. When he was only 15 years old, everything Abhimanyu and Abhimanyu's father did to his family still haunts him. That night was the worst night of his life.

The night when Khan Mansion was attacked and burnt into ashes..

Sarfaraz's past will be revealed in the next chapter.. (It is a terrifying one, warning for soft hearted people)
