She lets go of her curtain, watching as it falls over her window. "Great, now he's going to tell everyone I was stalking him," she whispers to herself. She picks up her textbooks and her notebooks and slides them into her backpack. Even though her finals are more than 9 hours away, she's still a nervous wreck. She wants nothing more than to ace these finals and make the rest of her senior year perfect. But of course, how can her senior year be perfect after what happened at prom? She decides to stop thinking about it, and just go to sleep. She jumps into bed and pulls the thick blanket over her, shuts off her bedside lamp, and closes her eyes as she drifts off into her dreams.

All she can see is white, absolutely nothing else. It's like the big bright screen before the movie starts in a theater. She squints and rubs her eyes, and her vision slowly clears. She looks down to notice she's in her turquoise prom dress, along with her turquoise high heels. She looks around at her surroundings and notices she is at prom, but in her dreams. "Please, please wake up." She thinks as she walks around the dance floor. Then, as if a nightmare is being played through a little kids dreams over and over again, she notices Thomas and Isabella walking into prom, arm in arm. Thomas was supposed to be her date, but he ditched her for Isabella, who's daddy is rich enough to buy a limo to show up in. He never gave her an explanation, in fact, they never shared a simple conversation since that night.

She wakes up to the sound of her alarm clock, buzzing loudly right in her ear. She hits the top of it with the palm of her hand, making it silent once more. She climbs out of bed and gets dressed. Then from there she does her normal routine: breakfast, brush teeth, hair, and makeup. As she stands in front of the mirror in the bathroom applying foundation, she wonders about her nightmarish dream she had the night before. "I just need to stop thinking about him." She whispers to herself. She cleans up her makeup and her curling iron and rushes downstairs. She notices her mom in the kitchen, and stops to give her a hug. "Bye mom, love you." She says as she exits the house, shutting the door behind her. Just as she steps outside, she notices Thomas exiting his front door. She quickly runs over to her car, trying to be unnoticed, and climbs in. She inserts the key into the ignition and turns it, nothing. She tries again and still, nothing. She hears a tap on her window and about has a heart attack, when she realizes it's Thomas. She opens her door and he backs away, giving her room to step out of the car. "I can give you a ride if you want." He says with a smile on his face. "Why would you want to do that? Wouldn't you rather tell me you're going to give me a ride, then end up giving Isabella a ride instead?" She mocks. "Listen, I can explain-" "Don't Thomas. I don't want to know why you left me alone on the "biggest night of my life." "Okay, but at least let me drive you to school." He looks at her with a sad expression on his face, almost like a puppy dog trying to plead for a treat. She gives him a smile and walks towards him until they're face to face. "I would rather walk." She turns around and walks back into the house and slams the door behind her, releasing all of her anger on the closed door.
