"You're a jerk," he whispers laughing. I step away from him when he grabs my waist and pulls me into him, crashing his lips against mine once more. "I love you," he whispers in my ear. I give a small smile and step away. His smile fades, and his expression becomes glum. "I'm sorry," He slightly whispers. "No it's okay." Thomas grabs a wash rag from a drawer and wets it under the sink, then begins to wipe my face. I take the rag from his hands and gently wipe the icing from around his mouth. I walk toward the counter to place the rag when Thomas grabs my arm, causing me to drop the rag on the floor. "Where are we going?" I smirk and pull myself backwards, but his strength overpowers mine. "On our date, remember?" A smile covers his face and he swings the door open, allowing me to exit the house first, then closing the door behind him. We walk toward his car, and he opens the door for me. "Thank you," I smile jokingly as he closes the car door. "So where are we going, anyway?" I ask as he climbs into the car. "It's a surprise," an uneasy smile settles on his face, and he inserts the keys into the ignition, starting the car.

We've been driving for about an hour now, and I'm becoming really antsy. "Tommy, will you tell me where we're going?" I ask anxiously, shifting up in my seat. "We're almost there," he smirks and returns his attention to the road. I look out the window, and I realize the sun is starting to go down, causing the world to dim. I look off toward the start of the black clouds, and see they're moving quickly. I drift out of my thoughts as I see a gigantic sign. "Merlin County Community Fair Next Right" it reads. Our first date is at the fair? "So, the fair huh?" I say trying to hide my smirk. "Yep," he smiles and pulls into the parking lot. As he parks the car, Thomas puts an arm out in front of me before I can reach for the door handle. "What is it?" He reaches into his pocket and pulls out two green wrist bands, handing one to me. "You already had this planned?" I smirk, taking the wrist band from his hand. He shakes his head up and down, and a small smile slowly forms on his face. He wraps the band around his wrist, and tries desperately to connect the two ends together. "Let me help," I giggle as lean over to help him with his wrist band. "Now let me help you," he grabs my arm and pulls it toward him, then attaches the wrist band's connectors. "What a gentleman," I smirk as we climb out of the car. As we walk toward the entrance, he reaches for my hand, and I allow him to take it. It feels nice to hold his hand again, just the warm touch of his skin sends chills through me. We reach the gate, and show them our wrist bands. "What do you want to do first?" He asks. "You're the one who had this whole thing planned." "Well, I do. I was just asking to see if you had anything in mind," he grins. He begins pulling me through the crowd of people, making sure not to run into any of them. When we finally stop and we're both trying to catch our breath, I notice a sign on the fence we're standing by. "Horseback riding?" I ask uneasily. "Yeah, what's wrong with that?" I've never ridden a horse, but Thomas doesn't need to know that. "Oh, nothing." I give a believable smile, and follow Thomas to the worker sitting in a plastic chair.
