I left the tent and went to my own. I can't believe Jack wants me now. I mean it was my dream and the number one thing I wanted but, I don't want to be with someone like him who just puts me aside and doesn't even care about me. I can't be with someone like him, but thanks to him, I'm going to be dancing with the most amazing guy ever. I think I might have a little crush on Norman. He's so perfect. He's nice, good looking, cute, pretty great and an amazing guy who really cares about me. I can't stop thinking about Jack though. Jack is the opposite of me but we both care so much about our little sisters. He understands me but I feel like I don't know who I rather be with. I want to choose the right guy and not the one that will make me suffer. This is just high school relationships it's not like it's going to effect my whole life. Is it? I mean, next year I'm off to Burgess University with all my friends so nothing's going to change. I walked out of my tent and noticed Astrid sitting there. "Hey." I gave a small wave. "Oh hi." She said. "What's wrong?" I asked her. "I don't think I'm going to Burgess University." A tear rolled on to her cheek and I wiped it off. "Astrid, don't worry about it." I said. "Its not about the school, it's about Hiccup. He wanted to do so many things together next year and it'll crush his heart to know I'm leaving." She cried. "Astrid, you need to tell him." I advised. "How did you guys meet?" I was just curious. "Well, at first I hated him because he was better than me and then I caught him with Toothless and I ended up riding with them. We kissed under the stars after they put me down. It was kinda cute because I always made the first move since he was to scared. But now, he always makes the first move." She explained. "And I love that he's always honest to me even if- I need to tell him." She said with some hope. "But I'll do it at prom." She added. "Ok." I said pouring myself some water. I was walking away and I was feeling so drowsy when I crashed into someone waking me up. "Sorry." I said with my blurry vision. "It's ok don't worry about it." said the person. "I'm so sorry, MK." I said. "It's fine Elsa. But I'm glad I ran into you. I wanted to know what's up with you and Jack?" How can I lie to her? "Jack and I are just best friends, nothing else." I responded. "Really?" She asked unconvinced. "Yeah we never dated and I mostly hang around him because I'm really good friends with his sister." I tried to make my crush less obvious. "Oh well can I tell you something?" She asked. "I have a little affair with this guy and he's really perfect. How do I tell Jack?" Ok people are talking about relationships when I've never been in one. "Well, you tell him at prom and go off with your Romeo." I advised. "Omg I owe you." She said giving me a hug. "No problem." I said refilling my cup. I'm just going to sit out here because Rapunzels here. Yay. (sarcastic yay) "Elsa, do you think Eugene will marry me?" She asked making my eyes widen. "Depends." I said in shock. "Well if the police finds out about Eugenes past, they'll lock him up and I'll have to be his wife visit him." she said. "Oh but if he saves the world, he wouldn't have to go through that since The Guardians are elite and they don't accept mediocre people in so he's fine." I said calming. I hope I'm right. I wouldn't want to tell Punzie something and have it not be true. I sat there for awhile and realized my eyes were carrying me asleep and I tried to hold myself awake. "Is this seat taken?" I looked up. "No Jack, it's all yours." I smiled all droopy. "Night watch?" He asked. "Sure." I yawned. "Elsa, you go to bed I'll watch out." He said. "Thanks." I yawned again. "Night." He waved with enthusiasm. I went to my sleeping bag and fell fast asleep.
I was woken up by the sunlight hitting my eyes. "Elsa, you ok?" Jack asked me. "Ya, why?" I asked. "The nightmares were here last night." He said. "What happened to everyone?" I asked. "Everyone is fine but Eugene got stabbed by someone and it wasn't Black." He said. "They know our location, we need to go." I said grabbing all my things. "We're already on it, we were just waiting for you." He said helping me. "Oh." I blushed. "Lets go." He said pulling me out. I gasped to the sight I saw. Eugene was wounded really bad. "Eugene, that's no regular knife they used, its something even worse. A dagger." I said examining his wound. "Dagur?" Hiccup and Astrid gasped. "Why are you two surprised?" Jack and I asked. "Back in Berk, there was a horrible guy that was after Hiccup because of war." Astrid explained. "He kills dragons. We can't let him get away with this." Hiccup said. "Oooh serious Hiccup." Jack joked. "Watch it mister, I might have one leg but I have a dragon, a night fury." Hiccup threatened. "Please, that dragon is nothing up against me plus your weak." Jack was getting cocky. Hiccup squared up and punched Jack in the face. Jack tried to punch Hiccup back but Hiccup was somehow stronger. "How?" Jack asked coughing. "I don't know." Hiccup said looking at his hands. "Me likey." Astrid said kissing Hiccup. "Lets go." I said.
"Jack, were you crazy?" I asked fixing his face. "I was trying to impress someone beautiful." He said. MK, I bet. "She has this way of being in my heart and I could never stop thinking of her." He said dreamily. "Yeah your girlfriend sure is swell." I lied. "Who said I was talking about her." He said moving my hair on my ear holding my cheek as I blushed heavily and rested my head on his hand. "This is wrong." I said backing up and running to the front of the group.
