The player left...they left him alone...No they're only going to be gone for a couple of minutes or atleast an hour but he's scared of being alone. He doesn't want to be alone, he never wants to be alone again but his fate says otherwise. He's being watched, he can feel it. He feels 2 pairs of eyes on him. Waiting for the perfect moment to strike him down, he wouldn't go down without a fight though. No he wouldn't accept that fate. He won't let them hurt him, not anymore. He knows who it is by the gaze. It was him. He's back, he wants him dead.

He gets why he wants him dead. He betrayed him, he didn't believe in his called "god" he doesn't even think that thing is a god.

No way will he ever call the prototype (the reason for everyone's suffering) a god.

If he rebels he's called a heretic but if he obeys then he's classed as a coward.

He'd rather be called a heretic than a coward. He's already rebelling against him. It's only a matter of time until this fake god goes down and he knows that. Deep within, he also knows that, people you have just met should never be trusted.

He doesn't trust that Ollie.

He just gets that feeling about him, you know the feeling that they are going to betray you if you get too close to them.

He doesn't know what to do with himself anymore, he's got no proper reason to live. He's safe but he doesn't feel safe.

Not right now at least.

Purple paws and sharp claws show themselves, his tormentor revealing himself from the shadows of the corners. And that's when he realises. He fucked up big time. No he didn't fuck up, the player left him and now he's going to die. He can't blame the player for this though, the puzzles in this house are super tricky. He gets that.

His freedom will be taken once again, that sliver of hope that he had will be lost and his sanity will drop.

Who's to say that he was sane in the first place?

His tormentor approaches him, in an angry manner, his tail swishing wildly with every step, he reaches out towards him and cups his cheeks aggressively pulling him closer towards him. He didn't dare move or reject the touch. Because if he did, they'd be harsher consequences to his actions.

"Poppy's Angel can't save you now Heretic. How does it feel?" Catnap asked clearly wanting an answer. But he never got one. That made him even more angry. He began to dig his claws into Dogdays fluffy cheeks, causing them to bleed. And then,Catnap repeated what he said but more demanding of an answer.

"I...I don't know how it feels..." Dogday answered truthfully well as truthfully as he could. But he felt hurt by it.He basically was betrayed in a way.

"You don't know how it feels to be betrayed?" Catnap asks, even though he knew that Dogday did know how it felt. He just wanted to mock him.

"I do." Dogday responded.

"So you know that your little Angel betrayed you? they left you here.To be alone." Catnap stated his grin ever growing so slightly.

"They didn't betray me! They would never unlike you. You betrayed me for that stupid god of yours who you would sacrifice yourself for just because he saved you!" Dogday yelled he really hoped that he got his point across.

"He's not stupid he's a wonderful god!" Catnap yelled back. His tail swishing more violent than ever.

"He's not wonderful! He never was! You were wonderful!" Dogday shouted he's had enough of this.

"He is wonderful! And he deserves everything! I'd give my body and soul for him!" Catnap shouted back.

"He doesn't deserve anything. He's horrible!" Dogday snaps back.

Catnap was fed up of this, why couldn't Dogday see what he sees? He wanted him to follow his god because his god would save him. Like how his god saved him. He wanted him to be saved. Maybe, he could save him a different way.

He would think about betraying  his god for Dogday.  On the other hand he realised his true god was dogday. He would cherish him like a follower to a god. That was his role in the first place. To cherish the one he loved the most.

And With that, he pulled Dogday closer and kissed him with passion in his eyes, he sacrificed himself to his god. His tail curled around Dogdays hips holding him tight and he wrapped his arms around Dogdays neck protectively he didn't want to let him go,He felt Dogday's arms wrap around him. They both have never felt safer. This must be joy for them.

"I'm sorry..." Catnap whispered. As he pulled away from Dogday.

"It's okay." Dogday replied.

"No it's not okay I took your legs!" Catnap cried out clearly getting upset.

"I forgive you for that...Everyone deserves a second chance." Dogday calmly stated.

"I don't deserve a second chance. I was the reason that all of our friends died." Catnap replied quickly.

"You do, even if you have hurt people." Dogday decided to reassure him, well tried to.

"Really?" Catnap asks.

"Yeah." Dogday says.

Catnap heard some movement from around the corner and immediately he thought It must be the player I've got to leave.

"I've got to leave now before your Angel comes back and tries to attack me." Catnap told him before unwrapping his tail and arms. Dogday also, unwrapped his arms around him letting him go.

Catnap moved back into the shadows, the place he was most comfortable.

AUTHORS NOTE: This was very rushed and I'm sorry about that but I hope it's good enough. I don't know when the next chapter will release but I'm sure it'll be when I have enough time on my hands!

Fun fact: I always write stuff on wattpad before transferring it to AO3!
