Charlotte layed in her bed, scrolling aimlessly on her phone. She hadn't been to her classes in a few days, which was totally unlike her, since she basically thrived on academic validation. Not only that, but she has barely even come out of her room. It was to the point, where Olivia called Luca. " Are you sure, I mean, maybe she's sick", Luca said as he entered their apartment.
" She's not sick, trust me", Olivia said. She shut the door behind Luca, motioning him to her room. He groaned, walking into his little sisters bedroom.
" Um, hello", he said, sitting beside her on the bed. She hummed at him, groaning when he took her phone and placed it on the table beside him. " What's up with you"?
Charlotte sat up, " Nothing, what's up with you?",
" Nothing. Why haven't you been going to class", he asked, Charlotte glaring at him, " I have your location, I know you're home 24/7",
" I just don't feel like it, when do you go to class anyway?",
Luca rolled his eyes, " And you haven't been going to hockey. I haven't seen you there once when our teams are there at the same time",
" Luca, what are you getting at? Am I not allowed to be lazy", she said aggressively, getting annoyed at her brother. Luca shook his head, " Then what? Just say it",
" I'm just worried about you, I don't want you going back to how you used to be. During highschool and stuff, I do worry about you sometimes", Luca said quietly, " You're my little sister, so I know when you aren't ok",
Charlotte sighed, placing her head on the boys shoulder. " Thanks Luca, but I'll be fine. I just need a break, so I don't go back to that time in my life". Luca nodded, the two sitting in a comfortable silence for a little while. He knew she would be ok, but he just wanted to make sure.
" I gotta go, I have a quiz to go to", he said, Charlotte nodding as he got up. " I'll see you later?",
" Yeah, see you",
