Zenith POV

"Ghislane, what have you been teaching my baby?!" I asked, "I've been teaching him the basics. I have no clue where he learned that." Ghislane said.

(y/n) POV

"Maybe he's like master Rudeus? Maybe he's a genius too?" Mama Lilia said, "Mama!" I said, "Yes?" they said, "No question!" I said making an X with my arms before running off.

I ran out to the forest with a hunting knife, Mama Zenith doesn't like me being unsupervised for very long, and she gets really worried when she can't find me so I feel a little bad when she worries, but none of them would let me kill monsters knowingly. "I found you." Mama Ghislane said from behind me, "POCKET SAND!" I said as I threw sand at her and tried to run, "I don't think so." she said, "Tell me what you're hiding and I'll let you go." she said, "Bang." I said as I created a small explosion in her face allowing me to escape.

I ran deeper into the forest than I've ever gone. "Don't move!" Mama Ghislane whispered as she covered my mouth, "There's a Hooded Crimson Cobra in that clearing, it can see us, but I doubt It will attack if we don't move, "Can kill?" I asked, "Not with you here. Here's what I'm gonna do. I'm going to throw you back toward the house, this will provoke the Cobra and cause it to attack. Either I'll come back alive with a trophy, or...let's hope it doesn't come to that." she said as she grabbed me, "Ready?!" she said, "RUN HOME! I LOVE YOU!" she shouted as she threw me away, "MAMA!" I cried as I flew away.

Ghislane POV

I drew my sword and dodged the first strike, "Longsword of Light!" I said as I unleashed my lightspeed attack and cut through the fangs of the massive snake. It roared in pain before hitting me high into the air. I struggled to regain my balance and I could feel that several ribs were broken and my left arm was fractured, 'Damn it. am I gonna bite it here? I at least wanted to punch Paul's lights out one more time before kicking the bucket...oh and (y/n)'s gonna be so sad. His swordsmanship's gonna plateau and he won't be able to recover, that's the best-case scenario, at worst, he'll never touch a sword again. I'm gonna miss all the cuddles he forces on me.' I thought making me smile, "NO! I'M NOT DYING HERE!" I shouted gripping my sword.

(y/n) POV

"HELP!" I cried as I ran inside, "(Y/N)!" Mama Zenith said in shock, "Mama in danger!" I cried, "I'm fine kiddo." Mama Ghislane said as he petted me, blood dripping off her left arm, "Oh merciful mother of gods, please heal this one's wounds, and let him recover with a healthy body. X-Healing" Mama Zenith said as she healed Mama Ghislane, "Next time you wanna go hunting wait for me. I did promise you that I'd take you." she lied, "YOU WHAT?!" Mama Zenith hissed, "I promised him that I'd teach him to hunt. If he's gonna be an adventurer it's a great skill to learn." Mama Ghislane said, "You owe me." she whispered as she picked me up, I just hugged her and cried, "What happened?" Mama Lilia asked, "Long story short, I killed a giant venomous snake, and the baby got scared." Mama Ghislane said.
