Hi everyone, and welcome to a new story. This is a project I've been working on for quite a while—a couple of months at the very least—and I'm excited to share it with you. It's still a work in progress, of course, and updates will be very very infrequent, but I hope you enjoy. Obviously I don't own Finding Nemo. With that, let's get into the prologue!

A fairly simple background for a simple style, because it is very hard to draw backgrounds like this. I tried to capture the same sort of detail about the characters as they are in the movie, just with my own twist. You'll see it better when Dory or Nemo shows up. Another note, Coral's design—namely her eyelashes—was slightly based on how she looks in the manga. I drew Marlin way too cute.

Ibis Paint X doesn't have an italics option, so I had to use a workaround. That's gonna be a bit awkward considering I did use italics quite a bit in the script for this comic. Oh well.
