Polaroids

Rhiannon woke up to the sun streaming into her room, she checked the time. 7:30. It was too early, but she still pushed back the covers of her bed. Her feet hit the cold hardwood floor and she walked into the kitchen seeing her mum standing at the counter. It was a pretty pastel green colour with white tops, they'd redone it since the last time Rhiannon was home.

"You alright hun" her mum said, Rhiannon smiled at her mum.
"Yeah, thinking about going on a walk this morning, it's nice out." she replied airily grabbing some bread and putting it into the metallic toaster. Her mum hummed a yes and began wiping down the counters.
"Any plans for today"
"Josh asked to meet up" Rhiannon said quietly hoping her mum hadn't heard, but of course she had with weird sixth sense all mums have.
"Are you going to go? Oh my god do you think he's still in love with you? Would he get me free tickets to Inhalers next concert?" her mum rambled not knowing when to stop.

Rhiannon just laughed and shrugged at her walking out of the kitchen and back into her bedroom, getting dressed and seeing Josh had sent her a time and place to meet. She decided she had plenty of time to go for a walk.

She arrived at the place Josh said to meet at and found him sitting at a table out the front, "hey" Rhiannon said quietly as she sat opposite him. He smiled "hi." Rhiannon was nervous she didn't even know why. She suddenly realised there was three other seats at the table, "anyone else joining us" she said nodding towards the empty chairs.
"actually thats what i wanted to talk about. look i know you didn't really like the band when we were younger but we really need a photographer and i remember you used to be great with your polaroid camera." he rambled "and i was wondering if you wanted to come on tour and take our photos"
Rhiannon was in shock but maintained a straight face, "you want me, your ex girlfriend, to come on tour with you, and your band"
"pretty much"
"why not"

With that the other members appeared.
