Chapter 15 :
| Who's The Kanima |

As soon as they walked into the school building, Ariel felt a strong grip on her arm, pulling her towards an empty classroom, leaving Isaac in front alone.

Confused and slightly alarmed, she turned to see Allison, Bianca, and Scott standing there with serious expressions on their faces. She couldn't make sense of what was happening. She had just been going about her day when suddenly, out of nowhere, she was forcefully brought to this place by someone. And now, seeing her friends looking so concerned, she couldn't help but feel a wave of anxiety washing over her.

As she tried to gather her thoughts, her eyes darted around the room, searching for answers. It was then that she noticed the familiar face standing amongst her friends. Stiles. The realization hit her like a ton of bricks. Stiles had been the one to drag her here. But why ? What could possibly be going on ?

"What's going on ?" Ariel asked, her voice filled with apprehension.

"Derek's outside waiting for Lydia," said Scott. Her heart skipped a beat at the mention of Derek's name.

"Waiting to kill her ?" asked Allison, her voice filled with concern.

The mere suggestion sent a shiver down Ariel spine, causing her to nervously fidget with her hands. She knew that Derek was capable of dark and unpredictable things, since that night.

"If he thinks she's the Kanima, then yes," replied Scott.

The words hung in the air, heavy with uncertainty. The mention of the Kanima sent shivers down their spines, a reminder of the deadly creature that had terrorized their town not too long ago.

Bianca, her brows furrowed with concern, broke the silence that enveloped the room. "But how can he be so sure ?"

"No, it can't be her," Stiles muttered under his breath, his brows furrowing in confusion. He couldn't wrap his head around the idea that Lydia could be involved in something like this.

"It doesn't matter, because Derek thinks it's her," finally spoke Ariel. Her voice trembled with a mix of frustration and resignation. The weight of the situation hung heavy in the air, as the truth seemed to slip further away with each passing moment.

"So either we can convince him that he's wrong," Allison suggested, her voice laced with determination. "or we've got to figure out a way to protect her."
