In...?!

Sorry for the wait. I was busy with school stuff and my principal was giving us a hard time. Anyway I'm back and ready to update so sit back and enjoy.

Storm Pov

I pulled the the bed sheets closer to me, so I was cocooned in Troy's scent. This week had been boring and I hadn't seen Troy after I confronted him about why my cousin had been held a rouge.

*flashback*

"Release her!"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because I'm the alpha here, not you."

"But I'm the Luna."

Troy froze. His greenish gaze located my eyes and I felt my breath hitch in my throat. The topic about my being Luna was a sore subject and no one around here wanted to talk about it.

Apparently everyone knew about the threat from the redhead (no offense to redheads) so it was still a question as to whether I was going to be Luna.

"You're not! Not until I say so."

The statement hurt. A lot. The rest of the pack members probably heard. Now I'm going to look desperate in their eyes. A desperate Alpha Female.

"To hell with your stupid title! I just want my cousin back you jerkface!" I snarled. My blood was boiling and I felt my skin turn red.

Troy glared daggers at me.

"Did you not have parents to teach you about RESPECT?!" He growled. I stilled and beads of perspiration broke out on my face.
Does he know? How did he find out?

"Lemme guess. Your parents got tired of you so the Moon Goddess relieved them of their pain."

In the next second, my hand was flying. There was a smack! then my palm stung.

"Don't you ever!"I hissed at him and he growled low in his throat.

He quickly stomped out of the room and given the screams I heard from outside, I'll take it he shifted.

How he could be so blunt and rude baffled me.
*flashback over*

Now I regretted it. I was a bit childish. He was weighed down with the responsibility of protecting his pack from rouges and Annabel was one. I felt so stupid.

A sharp burning pain in my back made me freeze. It was light at first, then it slowly became worse, as though someone had held a lighter to my skin.

I began to sweat. I rolled over on the bed and tried to pull the drapes open. They wouldn't budge.

I huffed in frustration and made a quick decision to go down for ice cream. I had only just risen when a paralyzing pain exploded in my back and I fell onto the carpet with a startled cry.

The pain spread and I tried hard not to shout as I felt my bones crack. It was the first time I was shifting without knowing I was doing so and it was then the hard truth settled.

I was in heat...
