Chapter 3: Meet and Befriend Gentleman Ghost

(Y/N is seen in his Red Psycho Ranger Form as he prepares to kill some people.)

(Suddenly, he sees a man in a top hat and a cloak, holding a cane, standing in the shadows.)

Red Psycho: (stops the car) Hey, hey you.

(Gentleman Ghost turns to see the Red Psycho Ranger.)

Red Psycho: You, in white suit.

(Gentleman Ghost approaches Y/N.)

Gentleman Ghost: Who are you?

Red Psycho: I'm the Red Psycho Ranger.

Gentleman Ghost: Hmm, Red Psycho Ranger, you say. I've heard of you. You were the one who defeated the Justice League, including my archenemy Hawkman.

Red Psycho: That's right! They were no match for me, and neither was Darkseid, who thorught he could control me forever!

Gentleman Ghost: Ah, I see. Well, I suppose we do have something in common, then. My name is James Craddock, but you may call me Gentleman Ghost. I was a notorious highwayman in the 19th century, until I was lynched by a gunslinger named Nighthawk. His soul was reborn as Hawkman, and I've been haunting him and his lover ever since.

Red Psycho: Wow, that's quite a story. I'm Y/N, but you can call me Red. I was a normal being from another planet once, until Darkseid came and destroyed it. He made me one of his champions until Big Barda freed me, and along with the Female Furies, I betrayed and defeated Darkseid.

Gentleman Ghost: How unfortunate. But you're not alone, Red. I know how it feels to be rejected, hated, and hunted by those who don't understand you. I've been there, too. And I've learned to survive, by using my ghostly abilities to evade, trick, and terrorize my enemies.

Red Psycho: Really? What can you do?

Gentleman Ghost: Oh, many things, my friend. I can fly, turn invisible, intangible, and teleport. I can also manipulate phantoms, create illusions, and drain the life force of the living. I've used these skills to commit many crimes, and to challenge the heroes of this world, especially the Justice Society of America.

Red Psycho: Well, I can run as fast as a certain Scarlet Speedster, I possess the same strength as Superman, and I can even manipulate elements and gravity.

Gentleman Ghost: Wow. You have quite a potential.

Red Psycho: Really? You mean that?

Gentleman Ghost: Of course, my friend.

Red Psycho: Okay, let's go. And thanks, Gentleman Ghost.

Gentleman Ghost: That's the spirit, Red. Come on, let's go. The night is young, and so are we.

(They go away as they laugh, unaware that some of Batman's proteges are watching them.)

Batgirl/Robin/Nightwing: (in unison) Time to avenge Batman!

(They secretly follow the duo as the screen fades out.)
