Katahimikan. 'Yan ang namayani sa akin buong byahe. While si Dani lang ang only source ng ingay dahil kumakanta siya.

I just find myself looking at the car window.

Dani and Pierre seemed to be close. Hindi naman pala sila magpinsan. E Friends kaya?

Kanina pa gan'yan ang tanong ko sa isip ko. Seryoso, what can be their deal to each other?

Hindi naman kami nagtagal sa byahe dahil after 30 minutes ay nakarating na kami sa subdivision namin, s'yempre sa bahay nila kami dumeretso.

But wait, kasama si Dani?!

Akala ko ba both Bautista at Narciso lang? Bakit siya nandito?

I looked at Pierre habang binababa ang dalawang maleta ni Dani. Si Dani naman ay nauna na sa loob na siyang sinundan ko rin.

"Tita Eria! Oh my gosh I missed you so much!" Seems like her and Pierre's mom are close nang magawang yakapin ng babae si tita.

Hindi naman kami close ni tita Eria ah?

"Hi tita," I also greeted her as she smiled at me.

"Hey, where's Pierre. Your parents are in the dining area na, sunod ka na lang we're about to start." I nodded at tita.

"Why is her family here?" Hindi ko na hinintay pa ang sagot ni tita sa babae dahil pumunta na ako sa dining area nila.

There I saw my parents talking to each other, nawala lang ang ingay nang tumabi ako kay mommy.

"Sabay ba kayo ni Pierre?" Mommy asked me which I nodded to.

Will they ever asked me things without Pierre getting involved?

"And also, for this evening, you don't have the right to complain about our choices." Dagdag pa nito.

My forehead creased in wonder on why she said that. Ano na namang choices ang pinagdesisyunan nila without me nor Pierre.

Seriously, pagod na ako sa ganitong setup simula nang i-arrange kami ni Pierre sa isa't isa.

Hindi rin naman nagtagal ay dumating na rin ang parents ni Pierre, kasama siya... and Dani.

Akala ko madadagdagan na naman disappoinment ko ngayong araw. Pero nabawasan iyon nang umupo sa tabi ko si Pierre, while Dani is in front of the said man.

It's not that long when his father finally announced the main reason for this dinner.

"So nand'yan na ba si Yvaine?" Tito started, so I looked at him.

"So... since Yvaine and Pierre." Tito stopped, I looked at Dani na huminto sa pagkain at tinutukan ang sasabihin ni tito.

"So since both of you are already engaged-" Suddenly, when Pierre's father started the announcement, there's a sudden interruption nang mabitawan ni Dani ang kutsara na hawak niya.

"Engaged?" She then asked.

I looked at my mom, who's a bit irritated already.

"Can we finish the announcement first?" Mommy stated, as Dani shut her mouth. Finally.

"I would like to say that Yvaine and my son Pierre will be better if they live together. Nasa legal na edad naman na kayo, both of you seems to be compatible and there's nothing we should do but to wait 'til the right time." Nasamid ako sa iniinom ko dahil sa sudden announcement.

Pierre on the other hand, help me to pat my back as his father continue to announce.

"Siguro naman wala kayong problema roon 'di ba? Both of you are a lovely couple."
