Amber's P.O.V
" Amber! Hurry up, the bus is coming down the road ! " My father yelled vehemently from downstairs.
" I'm coming, I'm coming " I huffed as I applied one last layer of mascara on my thick eyelashes, and touched up my messy bun. With one last look in the mirror, I quickly dashed down the staircase and slipped on my white converse.
"Bye dad, tell mom I said I'll miss her." I spoke into his chest when giving him one last hug.
"Take care of yourself kiddo." My dad wistfully whispered in my ear. There were two thundering beeps echoing throughout the house, which I assumed was the bus.
" The bus is here dad, I have to go." I replied and un- tied my arms from around his waist. I grabbed my two suitcases that were waiting neatly by the door step, and stepped outside my house.
I stared in astonishment at the massive coach bus when a mid- aged man in a formal suit approached me.
"May I take your bags Ms. Kendrick?" I smiled at the man pleasantly, and gave him my bags. The wide doors to the bus opened, my cue to get in.
The driver asked me for my name, which I promptly gave her. She told me to take a seat and make myself comfortable for the 5 hour drive ahead of me. I took a seat near the center of the bus, not going much further because I knew I'd get car sick, and plopped down by the window. I rested my head on the cold glass and plugged in my head phones. If I were really going to make it through 5 hours I surely needed my daily dose of All Time Low.
