Chapter 31: Battle of the Bands?!

Mana POV

Ugh...

What the? Where am I?

The Hospital?

The last time I remember I was in a battle against Nightmare with Nii-Sama, Tobiichi-san, and Tohka-chan.

That's right! I was critically injured. I got up from my bed, took off the mask that was supplying my life, and scanned the place.

It appears someone was treating my injury. How long was I unconscious? It probably felt like a couple of months had passed.

Looking back on my fight with Nightmare. Tohka insists on calling me her aunt. Why do I get the feeling someone is going throw a bomb at me and will make that statement sound obvious?

Suddenly my door slid open revealing men in black suits. They look to be ready to take someone away right about now.

"Mana Takamiya."

My brow perked up while I sat there in my bed.

"Yes?" I answer.

"Please come with us. Ratatoskr has a proposition for you,"

Ratatoskr huh? This should be interesting...

Hehehe.

Raizen High School's Music Room

Tohka's POV

We only have one more day to practice until the Tenou Festival begins. It's been two days since Miku offered her challenge to Shido. And two days since Kotori gave us another talk about tomfoolery.

I mentally sighed for that.

Currently, I'm in the room with Origami, the trios, and surprising Shido in his normal state. I told Kotori that we needed 'Shido' for the musical section as I gave him some choreography practices from when we performed.

Sure Shido will also sing during the song.

Actually when Shido showed up out of the blue to practice with us. The trios bombarded him for just leaving after the first day I nominated him.

In the end, I told him to tell them that he too has been practicing on his shoe as well. Which brought ease to the trios.

Origami continues to tinker with her own thing. But she look pretty relaxed to see Shido.

"Okay, everyone! Thank you all for showing up. I know we're in a bit of a time crunch so let's finish up and dominate the performance section!"

"Right!" Everyone minus Origami cheered.

This is good, everybody looks rather excited about the Tenou Festival which is what I was aiming for. Yay me.

The trios have put much effort into practicing the instruments for the theme. Too bad it be a waste once Miku uses her powers on them. It's a good thing I went ahead and asked the Yamai twins to practice in case that happens.
