Chapter 5: "A Heart is Born"

[A/n: There is abuse (sexual) and violence in this chapter, please read at your OWN digression]

I don't understand. The phantom 6th man was out...he couldn't beat Makoto...and yet when he returned Seirin's score keeps getting higher and higher. The balls Makoto was stealing a little bit ago are now being redirected, and man is he pissed.  

In the final seconds of the game Makoto looked at the phantom man and told him that there was no way that Seirin would win against him....but when the buzzer went off I fell to my knees....

"Seirin won!" The crowd roared.

"Makoto..." I saw his mind figuring out where to place the next scar...and he looked right toward me, it was my turn to begin the process of matching my boyfriend...

As I begun to cry the Seirin team looked at me making eye contact. I gave them the look of 'What the hell have you done?'

"Tak" Teppei walked over to me as Seto helped me from the ground and some of the other players brotherly called me an idiot

"Not now, Teppei..." I turned and took a step

"Takaya please" Hyuuga, Riko, Izuki, and Koga all called after me

"I have to go..." I wiped a tear forming at the corner of my eye "I'll see you guys later...and Teppei" I faced him "I'm deeply sorry that Makoto hurt you like that..."

"Takaya!" Makoto called out from behind me

"Sorry Makoto" I turned again and began to walk until I ran into the light haired phantom player, I think his name is Kuroko...

"We would like you to not go with him"

"Oi!" Makoto called to me as he began to walk over "We need to get home, you have homework and I have homework" He said as he was walking towards us

"You don't think I know that?" I maneuvered around Kuroko and faced Seirin "What?" I questioned their shocked faces

"You...l-live. with...t-that?" Hyuuga commented

"Isn't it normal for a couple to live together?" Makoto leaned on my shoulders

Couldn't have said it better~ or picked a better time!

They were all speechless when Makoto said that. Teppei looked utterly pissed, but not as much as Hyuuga or Izuki.

"Sorry, we've got to head out" I said waving as Makoto dragged me to the exit

"Tak, come back!" Teppei called after me, but for some reason he didn't move

"How could your sister date our...your enemy?!" I heard them talking as I was in the process of leaving

"I don't know..." Teppei answered melancholy

"Does this mean she is okay with them hurting you?"

"I don't know..."

"Why did--"

"I don't know!" Teppei then fell to his knees and began to sob out loud

"Ignore them..." Makoto said grabbing my attention, "They just don't understand what we have"

Him saying that, in the tone he did, made my heart flutter...I love you Makoto!

"Makoto stop!" I yelled

My heart was racing and I felt light headed. I had lost so much blood. I wasn't prepared for this as much as I'd thought I'd be. 

When Makoto and I got home he immediately grabbed out a knife from the kitchen...
