-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not special. Well, except for the fact that I literally quite am immortal. But I am not Annabeth Chase, Daughter of Athena. I adored Annabeth, definitely not as much as my mom tho. But that's not the point. Maybe if Athena came for me, I could say 'Oh but I'm a huge fan of your daughter! Can she sign my awesome Camp Half Blood shirt?!' but she would probably be extremely weirded out and will probably banish me from earth forever. But let's just hope for the best.
   I didn't get good sleep, as predicted. I woke up to what felt like a parade. But of course, that would be better than just waking up to pure silence. I woke up to about 6 different people surrounding me, mumbling and whispering to each other. The lady standing at the end of my bed was an elderly woman who was about in her 80's. Her hair was thin and grey. Wrinkles appeared everywhere among her droopy face. A girl who stood next to my bed on the right side caught my eye. Her hair shimmered a bright blonde, it was curly, but looked like it was smooth at the same time. She stood cross armed; I could tell she was examining me carefully as if I was going to pull out a sword from my coated pockets. Next to her, was the girl i saw earlier. The emerald-colored eyed girl. The blondie stepped back and spoke to her, her words weren't very nice.
   'Typical newbie.' She was probably here longer than everyone else, because the wise looking lady said
'You were one once too, 10 years ago. Don't decide to get ahead of yourself so soon, Faith.' The girl rolled her eyes and glared at me before marching out the door. What's her problem? Maybe she was my long lost bully or something. My focus came back when the lady spoke again.
 'Everyone please exit the room.' The lady spoke uncomfortably soft. Her voice was raspy and old. I blinked an eye; I saw her staring down at me. I then noticed she had spectacles that were tiny and thin. The lens were clear and clean. The lens were thin and shiny. They hung at the end of her arched Greek nose. She then adjusted them to get a better look at me.
 'Stand up.' Her voice then quickly switched to a stricter tone once she noticed that I was awake. I didn't really know what to do except stand up. So, I did. She then held her wrinkled fingers Infront of me and gestured me to follow her. She had dark blue eyes that could be spotted in pure darkness.
 We stepped into the awfully quiet halls. I noticed how narrow and spacious the place was. The walls were rising up all the way to about 10 feet. The place had no roofs whatsoever. I could see the clouds from where I was standing. The hall looked like it was just a never-ending illusion. And by the way, not a very good one. It felt like i was in solitary confinement. The walls were painted a white, everything was marble and fancy, I felt like I was invading a private area or something like that. Even after all of my dirtiness and smelliness from whatever I was going through, the walls and floors were completely spotless. No speck of dust found anywhere. We walked through the crowd of teens who looked around my age. They instantly stared at me and murmured things that were probably not great, even though I hoped they were good things. One guy just followed me with his eyes like an angry hawk, why does it seem like I did something wrong? I know I didn't do anything wrong.
   Shortly enough, we reached the end of the halls. I could still feel eyes staring at me from behind, so I didn't dare to turn back. The wise women's hands crackled like a bunch of fireworks on their way to launch themselves up in the air on new year's. Her hands formed a fire, surrounding her hands from her wrist to the tip of her fingers. A bundle of different shaped keys appeared, floating in her palms of fire.  She played around with them until she came up to a key that was formed in a shape of an Amythest. It looked about the same as the one Estelle handed me. She traveled it over to the door and inserted the key in, twisting and turning it. The door turned with a click. She slowly opened the door as it creaked. Right when I stepped inside, I could smell a scent of coffee and dark chocolate.
 'Have a seat dear.' She pulled out a black modern chair from under the table. Gesturing me to have a seat, or in other words, saying 'Have a seat so I can burn you into ashes and keep you as one of my beloved trophies that I claimed.' Glad that didn't happen. Instead, she pulled out an office chair that was neatly pushed in behind the wooden desk and sat firmly, opposite of it on a normal office chair. The room was covered in different medals and awards from, guessing... hers.
'So... This is all yours?' I walked towards the innocent looking seat, still glazing at all the medals.
'No. My sons. He is a world champion in, well almost everything.' She looked awfully pleased. I was surprised she had a son at her age.  'Oh. I might know him, what's his name?' I slowly sat my bottom on the seat. Luckily, nothing happened. 'Ralph Stormcaller.'  I was even more nervous now. My palms were all sweaty. I bit my tongue. hoping he hasn't talked to her about me. 'Never heard of him.'   I shrugged trying to play it off safely. 'Oh really?' Her voice was genuine and deep now. Was she a whole different person then from before?? I'm just glad he didn't ramble to his mother about this boy lover girl who totally had a crush on him in elementary school. She then opened the drawer under her stable desk and rummaged through which looked like documentary papers, she licked the tips of her fingers and pulled a double-sided sheet and slid it across the desk. I stared at her then looked down at the sheet. It read in big bold letters.
                                           I HAVE A SUPRISE FOR YOU, MAV MARBLEMAW.

The letter had about 3 large paragraphs in total. 'It's from Estelle. Go on, read it.' I felt a little pressured because she was watching me like a hawk from her desk. Like she was a bartender at a fancy restaurant, waiting for the customer to drink their expensive man-made wine. Also, why didn't my own sister approach me herself? Why did she have to send a letter? All of this made me rethink everything that's happened to me. Anyway, the letter wrote;

      Everything was odd, yea but what's even odder is that my sister sent me a note about a not so 100% safe place that has the word ground in it??? Well, it's whatever. The lady was smirking at me and dropped it when I glanced back at her. 'Well, that explains everything. So, go on.' She popped open a cookie jar that was sitting next to a cat figure that held a huge fish in its hands, taking a huge bite into it. I felt like the fish. 'What's your name by the way... Uh... Miss?' She bit into the solid cookie and chewed. 'Miss Dragire.' She snapped her disturbing fingers. And... that's how I got slurped up to another unknown place. Oh dear. I heard nibbling sounds coming from behind me, I was stuck in the middle of nowhere. I turned to see about 10 small little elves, glaring at me with red striking their tiny eyes. They all then charged at me all at once. This is going to be fun.
