Elenor's POV

"Hey! Stop snapping at your brother!" I said looking at Barry and Ben, (my baryonxs). "Don't worry, you'll both get a snack." I said as I threw goats leg to each of them. Bonny then comes in between them looking at the goats leg signing to me to give her one too.

"Don't worry, I didn't forget about you." As I threw a leg of lamb into their enclosure. Suddenly, one of the feeders slipped and fell into their enclosure. Barry, Ben, and Bonny all race to eat him when I jumped into the enclosure in between the siblings and their prey. "Bonny, we do not eat people." I asserted as I cautiously approached her.

The baryonx slowly calmed down as I reached out and rubbed Bonnie's head and back. she gave off a playful growl, then walked away, with her brother following, but not before roaring at the feeder making him jump at least 20 feet. "You ok? I know that had to be pretty frickin' scary." I asked as he stood up shakily.

He smiled at my kind gesture until I said. "It was also pretty frickin' hilarious." I said laughing at him. He scoffed at me and went through the gate. I went over to Bonny who was resting, watching Barry and Ben fight over meat. I laid down with my head on Bonny's stomach watching Barry and Ben. I suddenly heard my name called. "El! Come on! I need to talk to you." It was my dad staring at me from the cat walk.

I sighed standing up off of Bonny and walking over to the gate. I walked up to the car walk. "Hey dad." I said in a sarcastic voice. "That was super touching, I even got a photo." He said in a mocking tone holding up his camera. I laughed as I asked. "What do you want?"

"Can't I just wanna spend some time with you. God, you're growin' up, I barely ever get to see you anymore. You don't even have any friends." My dad said sadly as he continued further before I could correct him, "And before you tell me otherwise, I mean human friends." Ok, yes he had had me there, but who needs human friends when you got dinosaur family.

"Which is why I'm sending you to a new Jurassic World experience called Camp Cretaceous, where you'll meet kids you're own age." His words echoed in my mind, the thought of leaving the sibling again, shook me to my core. "But who'll take care of the baryonxs." He stared back at me, "You know as well as I know that the baryonxs can take care of themselves. And besides, this will be good for you ."

He told me while leading me to a tactical jeep ready to transport me to the dock.
"Don't let anything happen to her on the way. Or I'm holding you responsible." Owen ordered making the driver shiver. My dad tossed me my backpack that I almost forgot with all my essentials. He also handed me his jungle knife, you know, just in case.

We had a silent hug while I smiled a forced smile. He had known that I wasn't thrilled to be going. "I love you," he smiled at my words. "I love you too," he said while keeping his macho man integrity intact. But for a second I thought I saw a tear roll down his face.

We drove off as my dad walked away. I started to rummage through my backpack as I hooked the jungle knife to my belt. I had 2 pairs of dry cloths for emergency, loads of granola bars and water bottles, a map of the park, a compass, small tool kit(I loved fixing things), headphones and a raptor whistle made to call upon and/or distract raptors.

I carry my backpack everywhere. I strapped my backpack on as we drove up to the main where I saw 5 kids walking off the boat. I saluted the driver as he drove away. I walked down the pier and stood next to a dorky looking kid with dark skin and a yellow jacket with raptor tooth necklace around his neck. He seemed to be the most excited to be here.
