VIRGINIA . JUNE.9 . HER POV
I sat in the chair next to my brother's hospital bed.
He's been in a coma for the last few days and the doctors keep saying that he'll wake up soon but he hasn't moved an inch.
CPS came by saying they wanted to speak to me. Saying that my brother's gonna be taken away from my mom and placed in foster care. That I could go to court and try to get custody of him but, "I'm too young to be troubled with a kid."
This kid that I basically done brought up on my own, I'm supposed to let someone else raise him
I will be fighting for custody.
I was taken out of all my thoughts when I received a call from Kedia.
I picked up the phone, walking out the room but remaining by the door.
My voice was scratchy, "H-Hello?"
Kedia immediately started going off, "You don't know how to pick up the phone? Fucking on some bitch huh? You know better than to be doing that shit. Just cause I fuck some girls from time to time. "
I've been with Kedia for a year. For the first few months she was the sweetest, most caring person you could ever meet but as time went on she became nasty towards me.
I sighed, "Kedi-"
She cut me off, "Bitch stop playing with me!"
I hung up, if she gonna call me out my name she can take that shit somewhere else.
I mumble, "Dumb ass girl." to myself and head back in the room.
I saw my brother's eyes flutter and rush to his side, calling for the doctors.
"He's awake!"
