Hey, trolls!

I'm so eager to get this thing started that I'm going to just start a review on my favorite werewolf story on wattpad. Well enough procrastination! Let's get started!

Title: Tame My Heart...or Else

Author:Nessie64 (I wonder if she's a legend of Zelda fanatic like me)

Say what?: Liza has always been shy, afraid of being noticed. As a new school year starts though, she is forced to face unanswered questions. Why did all her friends move so suddenly? Who are all these people who seem to have taken over her school? And what are these rumors about wolves being spotted in the woods about...

A story of love and secrets - and how to be brave in the face of love.

First impressions are everything: ok, I'm not going to lie. I remember first seeing this on the what's hot list and just rolling my eyes. It honestly sounded like it might be about a loner who becomes mates with the bad boy but she plays hard to get just for kicks. Just like everything else on wattpad it seems... I honestly thought the title would fit right into those cheesy harlequin books I'd take with me into a locked room. Yeah, you all know which ones in talking about. It was out of pure boredom that I FINALLY decided to give it a proper chance to prove its votes and fans were well deserved!

Characters: (I'm just going to use first names because I'm too lazy to reread the whole book just to find the names) here is who they are and what I thought about them

Liza: the heroine of the story. OMFG!!! she is NOT what I expected. Being the "shy" girl by NO means made her a loser loner! I almost threw a party when stumbling upon a character that had DEPTH!! Thank you, nessie64, for not making her the teary eyed, helpless, underdeveloped female!

Brent: the love interest. unfortunately this character almost perfectly fits with the bad boy, manwhore, alpha/alpha's son werewolf stereotype. The good news is that nessie64 takes this stereotypical character to a completely different place than do other authors!! Instead of prince charming, this character is the biggest, meanest bully I have EVER met!

Wes:one of liza's friends. I'm not really sure what I thought about him except that he was realistic enough to remind me of a few people I know that have been shoved into the friend zone.

Hailey: liza's friend. This character sort of annoyed me with her fickleness at the beginning. Sorry but she doesn't seem like a real friend to me and I'd probably have fed her to all you trolls put there. Despite my dislike for her she's actually a good character!

Rosie: liza's friend. I'm not sure what to say about her except that I almost picture her as a Paris hilton wannabe except without the money or the fashion sense. I have to be honest and say that I really think she's the least well developed character out of the close group of liza's friends. Bah!

Someone just feed her to the trolls!

Brent's dad: this is possibly the most confusing character who might need to spend some time on a couch deciphering inkblots. First he's a really nice guy who's fun to be around and just random, then he suddenly becomes this horrible guy. Google Botox mom and then read what he does to the poor kids in the story. You'll understand.

So it begins: the beginning wasn't anything uberly special and the author acknowledged this. Even if it wasn't terribly exciting it did a marvelous job at giving the audience a slice of Liza (figuratively unfortunately.. I mean of course!!). I'm just grateful she didn't give a sob story or painfully describe how beautiful Liza supposedly is. This is an almost perfect description of how an average person's first day of whatever would be like. First days of whatever are always full of that tingle of excitement and the annoying twang of worry that things might not go right so you have to do everything just right. I liked it!

And it goes on and on...: I absolutely love this story!!!! (This is surprising because anyone who knows me will testify that I'm an overly critical critic.) Even the fight scenes were extremely well done! Rare is the book that knows how to do a fight scene well. I'm going to stop before I go into a huge essay that includes every spoiler that can be made for this.

The literacy nazi: no problems here. Nessie64 almost dutifully has her book edited by some thumbs down person. If there were mistakes, they don't interfere with the story at all. In fact, its easy to not even realize they're there (unlike mine apparently)

The rape whistle: I almost cried when I had to blow the almost rape whistle on this story! That moment HEAVILY had me considering deleting the story from my library. Rape=cliched, story "enhancer". What kept my

finger from clicking the delete button was the fact that I really like this story.

Fail Test: A-

Just the flavor for...: anyone at any time or place!

Comment question: what book should I review next? come on, send me a really bad one!!! I dare you all!!!

Don't feed the trolls ;D
