》Delvin Ross"Ray Ray, who is dis?" The toddler said in a cute voice, gripping onto Rayner's shorts.
"This ma friend papa. Elijah go back to the room for me, imma be there in a minute." Rayner spoke to the little boy.
"Okiee." He turned around wobbling out of my sight.
"Umm, where everyone at and who child is that?" I asked.
"Jane didn't tell you?" He stared blankly at me.
"No."
"Of course her high ass didn't," he shook his head, dragging a hand down his face.
"Ma family inside, we having one of those little cookouts." Ignoring my second question.
Well that explains why it's so loud. I regret not checking in with Jane.
"Well I can go home—" I turned around before he grabbed me.
"It's no point. You don't seem to have a ride and I can't take you right now."
"I wasn't asking you to take me—"
"Delvin."
I huffed before entering his house. When I entered there were too many people in there for me to count.
This is his family?
I was expecting just one side of the family to be here, both sides of his family is here.
"Go up to my room real quick, imma be up—"
Before he could finish, his auntie appears out of nowhere with a big smile on her face and a colorful dress.
She had her hair did in a ponytail with a natural makeup look. She's so pretty.
"Ray you told me you wasn't bringing anyone!" She smiled at me.
"I didn't auntie. Just let me walk him upstairs—"
"Honey do you want some food? You can make you a plate before you leave." She offered.
"Auntie he just got here and ion think he hungry—" Ray tugged at me, tryna make me go upstairs.
"Ray stop talking for this boy, he got a mouth!"
Yeah, what if i am hungry? Speaking of hungry, nigga I'm starving, I just had practice.
"Yeah I'll have one." I said, even though I'm well aware of Rayner shooting daggers at my head.
A nigga hungry.
"See I told you! Ray help him make a plate, I gotta wash these dishes." She cheerfully walks away.
I ain't never seen someone that excited to go wash some dishes.
I heard Ray smack his lips and turned around.
"Nigga I just came from practice, im starving." I rolled my eyes.
"Aight come on." He led me to the kitchen making us walk through the living room. Everyone was looking at me as we passed by.
Probably tryna figure out why he got someone that's not family here.
There were people sitting on the couch and floor eating. Mainly kids on the floor.
They playing the PlayStation and all.
Once we made it to the kitchen, yet more people were in there but that wasn't on my mind. The food smelt bomb ass hell.
It's foil pans on the stove and inside the stove.
Yeah I'm finna fuck this up.
"Who dat?" I seen a boy with dreads and braces say walking over.
