December 2012
There weren't enough hours in a day for Messiah, not with all the school and work he found himself doing as of lately, though that was nothing new for him at this point in his life. He was a firm believer of time being a made-up concept because of how fast it moved.
These six weeks that'd gone by since Affinity got her abortion only felt like only a matter of days, which is why he was a bit caught off guard when she texted him one night, saying that she was in need of a good time. He didn't think she would be as eager to get back to the way things were before, knowing that abortions could be so emotionally taxing on people, but it was obvious that he thought wrong.
Or maybe it was emotionally taxing. He'd never truly know.
What he did know is that, for whatever reason, he was showing Keona some kind of undisclosed loyalty and it felt wrong for him to mess with Affinity on that level any longer. He wasn't going to deny that he had feelings for Keona and that he could see her being in his life, long-term. So, for him, that meant it was time to nip his sexual relationship with Affinity in the bud if he truly planned on keeping her around.
Instead of texting her back, he called er so that he could hear her voice and let her know he was on her way so that they could talk. He didn't respond to her message where she asked what there was to talk about because he preferred to address it in person.
When Messiah arrived, he showed himself up to her floor and knocked on her front door. There were only a few seconds of silence before she was coming to open it for him, and she smiled. Affinity wasn't wearing much, which Messiah knew was intentional. He was going to have to keep his eyes to himself as he broke the news to her that their relationship was coming to a sudden end.
"Hey," she soughed and opened the door wider for him to enter. "What, you can't speak?" she asked teasingly, the sentence holding no ill feelings towards his speechlessness.
He turned to face her, looking her slowly up and down.
So much for keeping his eyes to himself.
"I gotta talk to you about somethin' important." He was a bit tense, and his back muscles flexed as she sauntered over to him, and he felt himself grow in his black sweatpants. He licked his lips, taking a deep breath in and exhaling. This was a bad idea. "Affinity, come on, man," he uttered, her hands making their way under his shirt, trailing slowly up his abdomen, to his chest.
"I didn't invite you over here to talk, Messiah." She stared solemnly into his eyes, her lust never faltering despite the hiccup in her plans. Without another word, Affinity let the palms of her hands hold his face before she slightly raised herself on her toes, leaning in to kiss his soft lips.
And it was her mouth against his that made him forget all about why he was here and the point of this entire visit as he eagerly kissed her back, his hands taking the comfortable position at on her protruding hips. She slid her tongue fondly into his mouth, the memories of past sexual experiences and the thought of all the pleasures she was sure to experience tonight rushing her brain. He kissed from her lips to her jaw, then down to her neck where each kiss grew wetter and needier, almost sending her over the edge... but not quite yet.
Suddenly he was swiping Affinity up, carrying her to her bedroom where he proceeded to lay her down in her bed and slowly undress her, only to be a tease. He wasn't going to rush tonight, his very last night, with her. He was going to savor it. Keona had made it abundantly clear to him that he was getting nothing sexual from her for a long time, and it wasn't that he necessarily had an issue with that, but he wanted to make sure he handled his business before he was possibly tied down to anyone and they became exclusive in this partnership.
