The males that were resting awoke after about eight hours. They woke up and spotted Shinsou by the water pot hole just looking into it, sitting on the sand but by the pond, just looking into it. His father sat right beside him and he put his arm around his son's shoulder " What ya looking for?" Shinsou awoke from his trans and scooted away from his father "it's nothing. I was just thinking" his father sighed "Everyone thinks. Wanna share about it?" Shinsou thought for a moment, he wanted to tell his father but he didn't at the same time. Shinsou's father is really the best father, ever since Shinsou was born his father was an alcoholic, he was abusive at times, and he didn't believe or support his son's decisions. He made fun of them instead and when Shinsou was little he told his dad what he saw, it was a beautiful white pegasus next to a male who had white and gold wings. His father didn't believe him, he made fun of him and told the whole kingdom and he became the laughing stock of the kingdom. Shinsou wasn't dumb the only reason he was gonna become emperor so fast and early was so his father could avoid war. His father wanted Shinsou to go through war at a young age, Shinsou was only 17 at the time. His father claimed that " it was about time and he felt like Shinsou was ready to become the emperor" Shinsou sighed " I don't wanna share about it" Shinsou's father looked at the rest of the men giving them a look that said ' Leave us be' the men nodded and left back to the ship, trying to figure out how to get the heavy ship back into the water. Back inside the cave, Shinsou's father spoke again "Hitoshi Shinsou, You will share what's on your mind. A emperor doesn't have to worry about anything and they certainly can't be getting grey hair and wrinkles especially at your age, so son tell me what's bothering you" Shinsou stood up and scoffed "Don't call me son. You've never treated me like a son so why should I treat you like a dad, why should I tell you what's bothering me when all I know is that you're gonna laugh at me. You're not gonna comfort me at all" Shinsou's father stood up and brushed the sand off his clothing and cape and he walked right next to Shinsou "Tell me this very instant or I'll command my men to get that ship on the water and we'll leave you here all alone, by yourself, with no heat, no food, no water. " Shinsou froze at that, he knew his father wasn't lying so Shinsou sighed "I met someone" Shinsou's father smiled "Must be a fair nice lady then. Keep her in your grasp son, keep her wrapped around your finger" Shinsou scoffed "He's not a female and he's not human.... Well he is but he isn't." Shinsou's father took a moment to think "a merman?" Shinsou shook his head "A male siren. He helped guide the ship on the shore so it didn't crash. He pulled me from the ocean conditions last night and helped me live." Shinsou was met with a harsh slap on his face. His cheek stung and he brought his hand up to his cheek and held it, he pushed the tears back even though he desperately wanted to cry. Shinsou's father said " When are you gonna stop with this nonsense. Male sirens Don't live in these parts of the sea. I wouldn't be against you marrying a girl even if it's a filthy siren or a sensitive mermaid, so find one quick and marry her" Shinsou glared at his so-called dad "I've told you before. I'm not into Women. I respect them but I don't find any attraction towards them. I'm Gay dad. I like boys. I like men. When are you gonna accept that?!" Shinsou's father almost did an animal like growl " I will Never accept it. Men can't like the same gender. They have to like and fall in love with the opposite gender. Liking the same gender is a crime, it's a - it's a sin!" Shinsou finally snapped "So what!? People who like the same genders didn't do anything to you! Let them live who they want! Let them be themselves! Any god out there can judge all they want but it's about how a person lives, what choices they make. If it goes against the laws or rules they'll make the decision if a soul burns in hell!" Shinsou's father punched Shinsou in the chest causing Shinsou to fall back on the sand while struggling to breathe for a bit "Hitoshi Shinsou, that is where you're exactly headed. Straight to hell if you don't stop this nonsense. You're straight and you WILL get over this little phase once this instant." Shinsou sat up and glared as his father walked away before his father left the cave Shinsou spoke up again " Then let me be a sinner. I'll win as many times as I want if it means I find real love and not some toxic girl who wants money, power, status, and wealth. I'll continue to disappoint you myself cause that's what I was born for, disappointing you till you die. I'm the family Disappointment right?!" Shinsou's father looked back "Yes. Yes the hell you are. You killed your mother. And you actually have the audacity to live and not feel bad." Shinsou let the tears fall from his eyes and he stood up and yelled " there's not a damn day that goes by without me wishing I died instead of mom. You're a horrible dad, you don't even deserve to be a dad. You probably don't deserve mom. Mom was too good for you. What kind of father are you? A dad is supposed to love and protect their kids! you did none of those things. You only humiliated me and laid your filthy hands on me. I'm your own flesh and blood and you hit me. And for your information, mom died by childbirth. I didn't actually kill her if I was just a baby who couldn't even open my eyes. It's common for females to die of childbirth and you know it. So quit blaming me for your issues and problems!" Shinsou's father looked at Hitoshi and then left, he knew Hitoshi was correct, Hitoshi was right, but Hitoshi looked too damn much like his mother. The purple hair, the eye shape. The only two differences were his gender and eye color. Hitoshi got his father's eyes and not his mother's grey stormy eyes. Shinsou's father shook his head from the thoughts he was having and he made his way to the rest of the crew. Hitoshi went back over to the water pond pot hole and on the other side he wrote ' Hitoshi Shinsou ' in the sand and then left the cave.
