3rd Pov

Kierra: so basically this friend of yours is an animal abuser and then you rescued his cat which is that grey one, then he found out about it, hurt u to get the cat back, you followed him, then his boss beat you up, then my brother showed up in his ass and save u?

Jiwoo: uhh that's a unique way of wording things... But my friend isn't bad, he just followed his professor.

Kierra: yeah same thing, but he didn't stop his professor from abusing the animals which also makes him bad.

Jiwoo: I'm sure he's not bad he's just-
Kierra: Jiwoo, the way you're thinking is good, but don't expect that most awakeners will have sympathy towards you. The awakened world is not all cupcakes and rainbows Jiwoo.

Jiwoo: I know... And I'm prepared for it.

She's right just because they're so kind to me doesn't mean that every strong awakened is like them.

It was quiet for some time then Jiwoo's alarm turned on. Jiwoo then rapidly prepared his things for school, fed the cats, and got out.

Kayden: sigh that kid, he's struggling to walk but he didn't forget to feed the cats.... I'll go and watch him.

Kierra: I'll come with you, let me just change my clothes.

Time skip

Kierra's Pov

I am walking in the hallway trying to find the specific room which will be my new classroom.

Where is that damn classroom
Oh- here it is.

I slid the door and was about to greet Jiwoo when I saw him on the floor getting beaten up by three boys.

3rd Pov

Everyone looks at the person standing at the door, looking at the guy who's beating up one of their classmates.

The boys stopped their beating and looked at Kierra.

:what are you looking at?
:who are you?

Kierra then slowly walks towards them with a blank look.

Kierra: who am I? Oh- I'm Nonya.
:Nonya? That's a weird name-
Kierra: Nonya business

The boys are getting pissed about her words and were about to punch her when Jiwoo interrupted them.

Jiwoo: Kierra what are you doing here?
Kierra: You're beaten up but still asking what am I doing here? You should take care of yourself Jiwoo sighs don't worry I'll take care of these guys.

Kierra side-eyed the boys muttering "You're dead" This seemed to anger the boys and one of them launched a punch towards her. She evaded it easily and counterattacked with a kick which threw the boy in the back of the classroom.

I forgot I am an awakened, well sorry not sorry

Everyone is surprised by the strength Kierra showed. The remaining boys then followed to attack her when Jiwoo stood up and punched them.

Kierra is dusting her clothes and about to aid Jiwoo when their teacher arrives.

The teacher is surprised after seeing the view in front of him, the bullies are knocked out while Kierra and Jiwoo are standing in the middle.

:u-uh did you two do this?
Kierra: I kicked that guy but Jiwoo is the one who knocked out these two.
:oh so you know Jiwoo? That's good since you're starting to attend class tomorrow.

Kierra is talking to the professor not noticing the interaction between Jiwoo and a particular cat.

Jiwoo: excuse me, sir, can I go home early?

:Did your legs hurt? Do you want me to accompany you to the hospital?

Jiwoo: uhm it's okay, I'll just go to the nurse's office with Kierra.

The professor then agreed and the two quickly made their way out of the room.

Jiwoo and Kierra were walking side by side when a fat cat appeared in front of them.

Kayden: Kierra you're attending class now huh?
Kierra: I know I don't need it, but I guess I kinda want to experience what it has to be a student... And to look for Jiwoo too.

Jiwoo: Hey uhm Kierra thank you for helping me earlier.
Kierra: it's no problem, I guessed when I don't step up you'll probably let them step on you. You're quite the opposite noh? You're stronger than them but you let them beat you up.

Jiwoo: sorry.. It's just.. I'm still weak.
Kierra: well you don't have to worry cause I'm here-
Kayden: hey jiwoo, don't think about you being weak, you just need to train to get better. Now look up ahead, I want to try those new cat snacks I saw.
Kierra: How dare you interrupt me.

Kierra then holds Kayden in her arms tightly and Kayden is trying his best to get out of Kierra's hold while Jiwoo sweatdropped at them.
