Chapter 3

3rd Pov

A sound of something being punched is heard in the household of Jiwoo. The young boy is currently being trained by Kayden.

Kayden: your punch sucks, your positioning sucks, all of it sucks.

Kierra: so harsh.

Jiwoo felt himself deflate hearing Kayden's comment about his punches.

Kayden: Jiwoo come here, I'll teach you something that can help you use your ability efficiently.

Kierra seems to realize what Kayden means as she shots up from laying down on the floor and look at Kayden like he lost his sanity.

Not that he's not insane but..

Kierra: Bro..ther..?

Kayden looks at Kierra with a face saying "I know what I'm doing". Jiwoo seems confused as to why Kierra reacted like that but shruggs it off.

Kayden: This will help you get used to your abilities... And you Kierra practice meditating, don't slack off.

Kierra: yeah yeah.

Kierra then proceeds to practice her force control while Jiwoo is being teach by Kayden.

I need to regain my energy after that fight with the top ten world awakeners.
That idiot brother of mine always bringing trouble and now I'm getting caught up with it.

Time skip

Jiwoo and Kierra is currently in class listening to their professor. Jiwoo's face is buried in his arms sleeping while Kierra is staring into nothingness.

No wonder many students complain, class is boring..

Each of them is in their own worlds not noticing the looks their classmates and even professor.

After a few minutes, the bell rang signaling the end of the class. Kierra immediately stood and woke Jiwoo up.

Jiwoo incoherently mumbled something as he was still half asleep while Kierra dragged him out.

Once outside Jiwoo is already in his happy-go-lucky persona and is rambling about getting new cat snacks and toys for the cats.

They're walking not noticing someone looking at them with a certain look.

Jiwoo's Pov

I was talking about the cats with Kierra when suddenly someone called me. It was one of the guys who bullied Wooin.

He's probably their leader.

:Jiwoo right?
Jiwoo: uh yes-
:come with me.

I was about to follow him when Kierra steps forward.

Kierra: And why would he need to follow you?
:Just follow me, and you too.

He looked at me and then Kierra. We followed him and the other guys seems towant to come but their leader told them not to. We came into some space away from people. He stood in front of us staring at each of us.

Jiwoo: Why did you take us here?
:I heard you guys beat up my friends.
Kierra: So? They started it first, they bullied Jiwoo and of course, I wouldn't just watch them step on him.

I looked at Kierra feeling grateful for stepping up for me, but I also felt sorry because she got caught up in my troubles.

She already has a lot on her shoulders..

:Well, I got a reputation to keep.
Kierra: Well fck your reputation, your friends touched Jiwoo so beating them up deserves them. And maybe you too since you're their leader.

The guy seems pissed about what Kierra said but she just rolls her eyes and glares at him. He turned his head to me and said something.

:Hey you, you're an awakened right? No.. You both are awakened, right? You guys seemed to have the strength of an awakened.

3rd Pov

The dual-hair-colored guy states how they are awakened. And Jiwoo our innocent cinnamon roll here has just no thing of self-restraint.

Jiwoo: oh yes we are, I just found out I am an awakened, but Kierra here is-
Kierra: I just found out about it a few weeks ago.

Kierra looked at Jiwoo her face saying "Don't say anything". Jiwoo understood her and just kept quiet.

:well you two, come at me.
Jiwoo: you mean you want us to fight you?
:yeah, it would determine your ranks.

Kierra looked at him ridiculously.

Rank my ass.. You just wanted to show off.

Kierra: you seemed strong but it isn't fair for us to fight together.
:you two are still amateurs, I can take you both down.
Kierra: nah.. Jiwoo you go first, I'll go after.
:I said-
Kierra: shut up.

The guy shuts up after seeing Kierra's glare. Jiwoo sweatsdropped looking at them.

Ability/Force:

Manifest
-as the name suggest she can manifest anything she wants from nowhere. May it be food, clothes, weapon. She's currently working on improving this to manifest certain abilities.
(Abilities she can manifest for the mean time: Speed and Strength)

Wish
-she can grant someone's wishes as long as she wants to. But if someone forces her to grant their wish, it may cause the person who wished an unbearable pain. She rarely uses this because it takes a lot of energy to grant a wish that it will make her vulnerable or maybe even death. Many awakeners are looking for her for this specific ability of hers, that's why she's always wearing a disguise to conceal the way she looks so no one would recognize her. The downwards of this ability is she can't wish for herself.

Electricity
-she got this ability from her brother who teach her his force control. Though she sometimes uses it to speed her up or electrocute someone.

More info of Kierra:

An outgoing character but she easily get bored. She like to tease people, and kind of dramatic. She care for her brother deeply but just doesn't show it. Starting to have an interest of Jiwoo. Likes to wear comfy clothes and wears fancy clothes especially when pissing people off. She uses kicks more than punches.

She likes to brag just like her brother but doesn't have a huge ego. She act like she's broke but she's really loaded. Looks up to Kartein when it comes to looks. Want to be on the top of "most beautiful awakened" rankings. She wears a white mask that covers her whole face.
