Lavanya stood behind the curtain, totally confused. She had only heard the conversation and not seen their faces, so she understood the situation differently. She thought Arnav was angry at Khushi, but she couldn't figure out why.. from the words she heard, it sounded like he was angry because Khushi forgot to wish him that day. But that didn't seem like something he would really care about..

In her confused state, she walked into the poolside and saw that only Arnav was there. "Chamkeeli kahan gayi?" (Where did Chamkeeli go?) Arnav looked up when he heard Lavanya's voice "pata nahi.." (I don't know) he said with faked annoyance and disinterest. Lavanya shook her head "ASR, tum hamesha chamkeeli par gussa kyun rehte ho?" (ASR, why are you always angry on Chamkeeli?) Arnav turned his head away, that was his defence mechanism against all the other feelings that Khushi evoked in him, but he couldn't say that to Lavanya now, could he? So he pretended not to understand

"What?" He asked with knitted brows, Lavanya gave him a smile that said 'you know what I am talking about' "abhi bhi tumne usse uski engagement ke liye teek se wish nahi kiya... you were so rude" (Even now you didn't properly wish her for her engagement..) Arnav didn't know what he would even say to that, also he didn't trust his voice not to break right now, his chest felt constricted again at the mention of Khushi's engagement, so he chose to be silent.

Totally unaware of his uneasiness, Lavanya sat down next to him and continued to speak "Aisa mat kiya karo na... Woh bohot hi achi ladki hai... Woh yahan mere liye hi tho aati hai" (Don't do that.. she is a very good girl.. she comes here just for me) Seeing Arnav not responding, Lavanya took a deep breath "Tumhe pata hai pehle I couldn't even stand the sight of her... bohot gussa hoti thi jab Naani aur Di usko praise kare tho" (You know earlier I couldn't even stand the sight of her.. I used to get so angry when Naani and Di praised her) she shook her head, disappointed at herself for all her behaviour

"Lekin jab maine dekha ke woh dil ke kitni achi hai, I finally understood why Di and Naani are so taken with her" (However, when I saw how good hearted she was) Lavanya smiled "ab uske bina meri din hi nahi guzarti... Kuch bhi acha nahi lagta uske bina... she has become so important to me.. There is definitely something magical about her" (Now I can't spend a day without her.. nothing feels good without her)

It was as if Lavanya was verbalising what Arnav held secret in his heart, and he whispered "I know" without realising that he actually said the words and not just thought them in his mind. "Tumne kuch kaha?" (Did you say something?) he shook his head. "tumhe pata hai.. Hum sab Khushi ko bohot miss kar rahe the... Tho maine aur Naani ne milke drama kiya tha.. that things are not fine between us... To bring her back" (You know, all of us were missing Khushi alot.. so me and Naani together played a drama) Arnav just nodded his head, he already knew this.

"Lekin aaj uss plan ka bhi khullaasa hogaya... aur Chamkeeli hum sab se bohot upset hogayi thi... gusse mai ghar se jaa rahi thi.." (But today that plan was also revealed.. and Chamkeel was very upset with all of us.. she was leaving the house in anger) Arnav looked at Lavanya, this was news to him 

"Phir Naani aur hum sab usse manaane ke liye dance kiye the" (Then Naani and all of us danced to pacify her) Lavanya laughed even Arnav had a small smile remembering what he had seen in the hall. There was very little in this world that stumped him to silence, but watching the ladies of his family dancing to 'tu hai meri fantasy' definitely rendered him speechless.

"Aur finally woh maan gayi.. she is too sweet, hum sab ko itni aasani se maaf kardiya.. Mai bohot khush hu, Khushi yahan roz ayegi" (And finally she was convinced.. she is too sweet.. she forgave all of us so easily.. I am so happy.. Khushi will come here daily)
