Kayla and Georgie have been best friends since they can remember. Everyone around them were convinced they were in love but they found that thought disgusting.
Like always kayla was at the Coopers with Georgie, "I can't believe Sheldon is starting high school with us Monday." Georgie complained to Kayla, who was laying on her back on his bed.
She was listening to him complain that Sheldon was started high school with them cause of how smart he is.
"It won't be that bad. You might not even have classes with him." Kayla told him
"It's not that, it's the fact that I'm gonna be going to the same school as him." Georgie said
"I mean he probably going to embarrass me." Georgie said, "uh-huh." Kayla hummed, "and now that you said it what if I am in the same classes as him?" Georgie ranted, "uh-huh." Kayla hummed again.
"It's not fair. He's 9 he should be in 4th grade with missy." Georgie continued, "uh-huh." Kayla repeated for the third time. Georgie looked at her. She was looking at her unpainted nails, "Are you listen to me?" Georgie asked, "uh-huh" Kayla hummed
"Kayla!" Georgie said and lightly kicked her side, "What? Georgie you've been talking it about it for almost an hour. I get it you don't want him to go to the same school as us, but think about all of the anger you feel now, and tomorrow, and Monday at school. You can use that at football practice." Kayla tells him
Georgie sighs, "I guess your right." Kayla smiles at him, "I always am." Georgie laughs a little, "you're still gonna cheer right?" He asked
"Yeah, you know how strict my parents are." Kayla said and then they were interrupted by a knock on the door before it opened, "Dinners ready." Missy said and then looked at Kayla, "also mom wants to know if she needs to put and extra plate out for you."
Kayla proped herself up on her elbows and looked at missy, "yeah sure." Kayla said. Missy left the room, "you know you never eat at your house." Georgie said
"Huh?" Kayla asked sitting up looking at him, her blond hair falling to her mid back, "you always eat here." Georgie said
"Is that your way of telling me you want me to go home?" Kayla asked, "No I was just pointing it out." Georgie said and stood up from the bed, "Like I said before you know how my parents are." Kayla said standing up also.
"Yeah, we'll everyone here loves you. Even Sheldon, which is weird cause he doesn't show many emotions." Georgie said as they left his room.
