"You're slouching," Josie looked up at the voice seeing her father and Kate coming down the stairs both dressed up.
"Okay, and you look like Shrek but you don't hear me saying that every time I see you," Josie said with a eyeroll, "you look very lovely Kate," she complemented her stepmother, because the woman did look amazing, and to also annoy her father even more.
"Remember if you need help Maria is here," Kate said to her mother who she had been telling this to, for the past 2 hours, it was like the woman had not birthed 4 children of her own.
"Don't sneak out," William whispered into Josie's ear making the young girl frown, couldn't they leave already.
"When have I ever snuck out?" Josie asked back looking her father in the eyes, "you can not even think of one example, just goes to show how you did not raise me."
"I love you okay behave." he leaned down giving her a forehead kiss, "you love your mistress too," Josie retorted making sure the other two ladies couldn't hear her, her father choked up looking at her in disbelief, a small part of him ready to explain, but before he could get anything out Josie looked up at him with a eye roll.
"Wait are you really cheating with that flower lady or is it a really well known singer?" she asked letting out a scoff.
"No, I am not cheating, I could never cheat on my wife or anyone I love at that."
"Sure Jan, did you not sleep with Kate while dating mum, I guess she was your concubine back then or something cause it was not cheating."
"How did we get to this conversation," William wondered making his daughter roll her eyes, before focusing her attention back on her phone.
"You want to watch a movie?"
"No, I'm actually going to my room, need to rest I don't think I can feel half my body, you know with marine training and football," she said getting up to go to her room.
