Sophia met Gracie twenty-six years earlier in Manhattan's 2023 Global Business World Christmas Bash. Sophia and Gracie are vivacious and benevolent and confident and successful and perceptive and caring.
They had kept in touch via memes or texts. Today, both women are enjoying a yummy Samgyupsal-lunch the weekend after Sophia's daughter Lilli's debut. Lil's cousin Brit shares the same birth day.
Sophia remembers Gracie's daughter Brianna who married four years ago. Gracie and Brianna are outstanding in Advertising & Media; they collaborated with Moments Photo Studio then Stacy's business Eris.
It's October 16. Brit and Lilli had begun uni more than four months ago. They introduced some friends to Stacy as soon as home-recovery was finished; she woke up after 67 days and met the friends/? of Brit & Lil.

It's Thanksgiving and everybody is cooking and eating. Well. Ideally, most families are surrounding a feast, or, creating a cornucopia of memories by celebrating the holiday of thanksgiving and turkeys.
"Brit," Ace calls her, while the boys are organizing the utensils and plates; Lucifer and Stephen and Sebastian and Bryce all wore the same Friends Thanksgiving Joey sweater. Ace pats the sofa cushion next to her while she encourages her 18-year-old Brit wearing a boat-neck-top to take a seat beside her, which she does; then, whispering, Brit mentions her crush, Hunt, who's Emotionally-Unavailable for Romance or Dating.
Stacy assures Brit. "It's common to like someone who is not ready to date." Pause. "Don't pressure him. You do not have to confess your feelings to Hunter but should you decide to, know it will affect the friendship and friends you have and care for," Stacy informs Brit.

Lilli had always been aware that thousands or millions of mortals are obsessed with beauty, and beauty was something Lilli obviously has.
Lil surveys her reflection at night. Brown waist-length hair frames her blank heart-shaped face. Unfathomable. Frankly, most people don't bother to talk to her. Most usually felt satisfied just "observing" her.
And "observing" was definitely an understatement to someone as stunning as Lilli. For years Lil suffered the attention of stalkers or perverts or recruiters who tried to turn her into a Model or Idol.
She refuses to become a model or idol. She learned the hard way that attention was trouble to her and she treasures the indoors and quiet.

Lil battles her trauma or harassment and visits the Manila Sanctuary Park sometimes for people she loves. Her Great-Grand-parents and Grand-parents. Those who loved her. . . And family Lilli almost had.
