As they neared Sunoo's house, Sunoo suddenly stopped in his tracks, a sense of apprehension washing over him. He didn't want his parents to see them together, not after the tense phone call earlier.
"Let's stop here, shall we? Thank you for taking me home, Jake. I'm sorry we didn't get to spend more time together today," Sunoo said, his voice tinged with regret.
"It's alright, as long as you're safe," Jake replied, his eyes filled with understanding.
"I just don't understand why they have to be like that," Sunoo sighed, frustration evident in his tone.
"Your mom's just worried. But you know, you can always count on me. I'm just one call away, Sunoo," Jake reassured him, his voice gentle and reassuring.
Sunoo smiled gratefully at Jake and waved goodbye as he turned to walk towards his house. But before he could take another step, Jake called out to him.
"Sunoo, wait," Jake said softly, his eyes filled with determination.
Sunoo turned back to face Jake, confusion written across his face. And then, in a moment that seemed to defy time itself, Jake leaned in and kissed Sunoo on the lips, leaving Sunoo stunned and breathless.
They pulled apart, their hearts pounding in their chests as they stared at each other in disbelief. And then, without hesitation, Sunoo reached up and kissed Jake back, the world around them fading into oblivion as they lost themselves in the moment.
They kissed again and again, their lips moving in a sweet symphony of love and longing. Sunoo felt a rush of warmth spreading through him, a sense of peace settling over him as he basked in the warmth of Jake's embrace.
But all too soon, reality came crashing back, and they reluctantly pulled away from each other, their hearts heavy with the weight of their unspoken feelings.
Sunoo hugged Jake tightly, unwilling to let go of the moment just yet. And then, with one last lingering glance, he turned and walked towards his house, his heart filled with a bittersweet mix of joy and longing.
As he looked back at Jake, he couldn't help but smile, a sense of hope filling him as he realized that no matter what obstacles they faced, their love would always endure. And with a final flying kiss, he disappeared into the safety of his home, leaving Jake behind to watch over him from afar.
