It all started way back when she was just 8 and her brother was just 11. Their parents, Janet and Jack, were poisoned by the Obeah Man, leading to the death of Janet and a long-term coma for Jack. The two children were heartbroken. Their father Jack, woke up from the coma when Tim was 14 and Marinette was 11 but was killed by the boomerang man five months after he woke up. Marinette couldn't take it anymore and ran off onto the streets. Tim tried to look for her but couldn't find her anywhere. Marinette lived off the streets for 3 months till a kind lady named Sabine Cheng adopted her. This is where a new chapter in Marinette's life started.

"- nette MARINETTE WAKE UP. Oh, I know how to wake you up, MARINETTE JACKSON DRAKE YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE SO GET YOUR BUTT OF THAT BED!!!!!!" Yelled Tikki " How many times have I told you not to use my real name." said Marinette in a tired voice." Hmm, what's the time?" I asked " 7:30 NOW GET YOUR BUTT UP AND GET READY" yelled Tikki "AAAAAAH AM LATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" I got up and got ready in record time and went downstairs I grabbed a croissant and said bye to my parents. Another random day at the living hellhole called school. I quickly arrived at the class and sat at the back, thankfully my friends were already there. After a few minutes of talking with my friends, Chloe, Adrien, Nino, Kagami, and Luka the class started to fill in. Oh, and I think you already know the reason why I only have them as my friends. Also, Luka and Kagami transferred to our school once they got to know about Lie-la and her sheep. So now we were just talking about some random stuff until Miss Bustier came in. "Okay, class I need all of your attention, please! I have to tell you guys that we are going to Gotham for the end-of-the-year trip as someone in our class won the Thomas-Martha Wayne essay writing competition . We are going on Monday so today you guys may leave early to pack your bags and also pack some dresses for the gala which is at the end of the year! Also, this trip is sponsored by Bruce Wayne so please try to be on your best behavior.
