Chapter 2:- Surprise?

*Marinette's P.O.V*

Wait.... did Ms.Bustier say... Gotham?! My home? Omg, am I going home? THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!! Wait... What if Tim doesn't remember me? What if he hates me for suddenly disappearing and just randomly coming back from nowhere? What if he doesn't forgive me? Will he hate me forever? What have I done? "-bug, Mari-bug, Bugaboo?? You there, Melody please get out of your trance, Mari-san are you okay? Hey dudette, wake up please" I heard many voices say. "Hu-Huh?!" "Mari-san you started hyperventilating again. Are you okay?" I heard Kagami say. "Y-Yeah I'm okay" I replied. "Oh look at that! Mari-trash acting to get attention again." " Oh shut up Lie-la. your lies and your voice are RIDICULOUS, UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!"" Oh shut up trash n.o 2, we all know that she's just acting.""Well, you can shut your mouth up at least cause we're not even talking to you right now."" How could you Adrien? I thought you did not fall for Maritrash's lies""Well maybe cause she's not lying and you're lying you 蛇(snake)""Whatever..." said the lying snake. "Hey dude, did you get that all on the recording?" asked Nino to Luka. "Mhm got it all clear as crystal." replied Luka." So today's a Friday, so does a sleepover at my house sound good on Saturday and Sunday?" asked Adrien. "Yeah sure dude ." replied Nino. Ever since Hawkmoth was defeated and was revealed as Gabriel Agreste and his partner Mayura as Nathalie Sancoeur, the Agreste name has got a lot of dirt on it, but at least society showed a bit of mercy for Adrien as he didn't know about this and let him take over the Agreste company, which is now under my company's control, MJD. So Adrien basically has a free life now, and about Emelie, after Adrien discovered that his mother was in the basement all the time, he felt very sad and angry at his father, for lying and hiding his own mother from him, but at least he now knows that his mother was below him all this time.

*Marinette's P.O.V*

So today is Monday. We had our plane at 7:30. I woke up ten minutes late and the class almost left me. I guess that's karma for keeping my phone on silent. So now I'm searching for the class at the airport. After a few minutes of roaming around, I saw Izuku fighting with Katsuki. "YOU'RE GOING DOWN THIS TIME KACCHAN!" "OH HELL NA YOU STUPID NERD" 

*What actually happened*

After a few minutes of roaming around, I saw Mllme Bustier arguing with the woman at the ticket counter. " Huh? How come? Try under Lila Rossi then" said Mllme Bustier. " I'm sorry miss but I already told you that the tickets under the name do not exist." said the woman. "I'm so sorry for our teacher's behavior" Luka spoke up. "Can you please try under the name Marinette Drake?" Luka whispered the last part. "Oh yes, the tickets for the plane K-9125. 6 first-class tickets and 12 economy tickets.18 tickets in total am I right?" asked the woman. "Yes miss" replied Luka before the lady handed him over the tickets. "Have a great flight!" said the woman."Thank you miss" Luka said before distributing the tickets to everyone. Lila tried to steal my ticket saying she has tinnitus and it would give her much comfort if five of her friends come along with her, to which we obviously said no. "We paid for everyone's tickets and not even one person from the class decided to help with it so at least be grateful we even bought you your tickets." said Chloe. We could finally peacefully get onto the plane. It was a peaceful flight of 7 hours and 51 minutes. We finally got off the plane at 3:21 p.m. We all took our luggage and took a taxi to our hotel. Well now we're in our hotel rooms unpacking. Mllme Bustier gave us two days off to relax and get used to the new environment. That one day being today. So we planned on resting today and going out tomorrow. (Meh kidding this thing ain't the plot but I love wasting the reader's time ya know? Hehehehe. We also have to make it a bit fun so here ya go!)

*Marinette's P.O.V*

"So today is Monday which means today we have our flight at 4:30 pm and it usually takes us 2 hours to check into the airport so we have to reach the airport at 2:30 pm, and then again if it takes us 5 hours to reach the airport from our school and Mllm Bustier wants us to reach the school 30 minutes early so she could do a head count and right now it's 8:30 a.m that means..... OH SHOOT I ONLY HAVE *starts combing hair rapidly* 30 MINUTES LEFT BUT THANKFULLY THE SCHOOL'S RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET SO IT'LL TAKE ME 10 MINUTES IF I WALK AND 2 MINUTES IF I RUN BUT I ALSO HAVE MY LUGGAGE SO I GOTTA * starts sprinting down the stairs while dragging her luggage* WALK WHICH'LL TAKE ATLEAST 12 MINUTES WHICH'LL- BYE MAMAN! BYE PAPA! RESULT IN ME HAVING ONLY 2 MINUTES TO REACH THE SCHOOL FIELDS!"  

*Few moments later* *Still Marinette's P.O.V*

"OMG GIRL THE CLASS WAS ALMOST ABOUT TO LEAVE YOU! And can you please leave your habit of being late behind because it's utterly ridiculous" Said Chloe "Well we can board the bus now as it seems that Marinette's finally here" said Mllme Bustier 

*No one's P.O.V* 

 They had a peaceful flight of a total of 7 hours and 40 minutes without having to listen to Lie-la's lies. They had gotten off the plane, but by then realized their class was not there. Knowing that they had left them, they had to walk to the hotel. It was late at night at 11:30 p.m. which was mostly the time when most of the villains and criminals came out to attack, so Marinette and her friends had to stay alert at all times. They were at least 10 miles away from reaching the hotel when a group of thugs attacked them friends. "Give us all your money or face our guns" said the person who looked like the leader of the group. "Oh oh oh I'm so scared! Please help us someone" Adrien mimicked a high-pitched voice, "Please leave us alone dear thugs, we mean no harm and are on our way on a peaceful walk to our hotel" replied Luka, "Very not cool dudes, like seriously, leave us alone!" said Nino, "When do you think our days are gonna be normal?" said Kagami, in a bored tone, "THIS IS SERIOUSLY RIDICULOUS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!" shrieked Chloe grabbing the attention of a certain vigilante. That's when the thugs lost patience and lunged forward to attack them, Marinette gave a knowing nod to her friends which meant 'Get ready to back away and let them think we're weak and then attack when I say so'. While all of this was happening, the vigilante searched for the perfect moment to drop him, but he couldn't find one as within a few seconds, all the thugs were tied up in a corner, with not a single bruise or scratch on them. Marinette and her friends were about to leave the alley when the vigilante dropped down from his hiding spot. 

*Vigilante's P.O.V*

 "Hello, my fellow civilians! What are you doing outside at a time like this?" questioned the vigilante. "Oh hello there, Red Robin I think?" replied Marinette. 

*Red Robin's P.O.V*

Wait- that voice sounded so familiar. It almost sounded like- no no it can't be! Sh-she's missing! Most likely dead, but we're still not sure, she might've moved to another continent or a country, but let's not get my hopes up high easily. "Are you all okay?" I asked. "Yes yes we're all okay, no thanks for coming in at the last moment or we would've gotten severely injured or died" said a blond girl with blue eyes with an awful amount of blue eyeshadow. "CHLOE!" said a blonde boy with green eyes who I think is the model Adrien. "What? I just told the truth. Nothing wrong, right?" replied the girl who I think now is Chloe. "I am so sorry about our friend's behavior. I hope she didn't make you feel offended." replied a girl with short midnight hair and brown eyes with freckles all over her cheeks and nose. "No no it's fine, I didn't feel offended at all. Is it okay with you all if I ask you your names?" I asked. "Ya it's totally fine dude" replied a boy with a red cap and headphones on his neck. "My name's Nino" "My name's Luka" "My name's Kagami" "Ugh fine, my name's Chloe" "My name's Adrien!" "and my name's Marinette!" Wait a sec- she told Marinette, but due to the lighting, I couldn't see her properly. "Miss, may I ask what's your last name?" I asked "Well before I got adopted, I used to live here with an elder brother, so at that time my name was Marinette Drake, but after I got adopted, my name changed to Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Why do you ask so dear hero?" tears swelled up in my eyes, it was really her! She called me by the nickname she gave me! "Is everything okay Red?" I heard Nightwing ask me over the coms, concern laced in his voice. "N-no, it's nothing" I replied " Okay so we gotta go now! It's super late and our teacher must be worried about us! Bye dear hero we shall see you later!" said Marinette. I heard a chorus of bye's come by and fade into the darkness of the night. "B-bye" I replied sniffling, knowing very well they couldn't hear me. Brucie did say that tomorrow I would have to give a tour to the French students coming to Wayne Enterprises tomorrow. So I better get home early. I hope tomorrow's gonna be fine, I thought to myself while grappling into the night sky.
