Chapter 8

Kaminari stumbled through the door to the new house that he and Mina shared. His heart ached as he knew that he was hurting Izuku but in the process, hurting himself. He had to admit, he loved Izuku more than anything.

"Kami-babe! Are you okay?!" A worried woman cried out as she hugged a now sobbing Kaminari. As long as he tried to hold in his tears, he couldn't anymore. He was devastated and heartbroken. He knew he shouldn't have been mad at Izuku but he just didn't know what to think anymore. He couldn't believe that his boss was to marry his ex-love interest.  He knew Izuku couldn't control that nor knew about the two blonde's past.

"N-no I'm not. I think I'm in love with Izuku.." He finally said, he finally let it out but, to the wrong person.

"Oh Kami love.." Mina sighed as she comforted her friend.

"Then tell him that then love. I see the way you two look at each other. The way you guys interact and try to hide the fact that you to are hooking up. When its the most obvious thing in the world. You two love each other and need to be together. So what are you so scared about?" She knew he needed to hear this. He couldn't have been able to figure out his feelings on his own and would've lost the best thing that has ever happened to him just because he was too naive to realize it.

Kaminari looked at her with a painful expression on his face. He then began to explain the situation to her and her eyes widened. She was pissed at both of them. She was pissed at the greenette for not saying anything to the Gold Blonde but understood why he wouldn't have wanted to talk about it. She was mad with Denki for the way he was treating Izuku instead of just talking to him about it but also understood how he felt and why he was too scared to say anything. She huffed and shoved him onto the couch. Kaminari winced.

"So what?! That's it?!" She shouted. Kaminari's eyes widened. First he was screamed at by his love interest and now he's being shouted at by his best friend?!

"W-what am I supposed to do about it?.." He looked down at his hands with shame.  Mina flicked him in the head which made Kaminari look up at her while he rubbed his head.

" I know for fact you did not just say that!" Mina sassily placed her hands on her hips while she pretended to be mad at the Blonde in front of her.

"W-what its the truth!" He felt like trying to forget the man he loved and just try again with someone else. He felt like a monster for thinking something like that but he couldn't help it.

"He doesn't love me.. and he's going to be happy with someone else.. and they're on a date right now at a fancy restaurant probably sharing a bowl of spaghetti.. and recreating the scene from The Lady and The Tramp.." Mina was flabbergasted. How could her friend think so negative. He was very smart but, yet so stupid.

"I should just quit my job.. and find some other CEO's son to fall in love with.." He covered his face with his hands. He started getting a headache and was just ready to cry himself to sleep.

"I left him there while he cried. He was shaking and everything. He looked ready to collapse to the ground... and I just left without saying a word.. what type of man is that.." He was greatly disappointed in himself. He felt selfish. Mina just shook her head and removed one of her hands from her hips.

Without expecting it, Kaminari was smacked in the face by Mina. Which worked to get his attention.

"You can not let yourself go! You need to march into that Fancy Restaurant and declare your live for him! Do you hear me?! Your guy's love story hasn't met that end yet and I'm not going to let you throw this opportunity away! So stop sulking and get your ass down there!" She crossed her arms after she shook him.

Now with the confidence boost he gained from Mina's pep talk, he got up and ran to his room to get ready and grab a few things he needed. Once he was done he thanked his "mother" one last time before running out the door.

He soon drove off with a new agenda. He wasn't going to let Izuku get away this easily.

          "I'm not letting you go this easily."
