DEC 22,FRIDAY 9:00PM

St Elizabeth,Jamaica

Hearing a loud ringing sound I jumped up out of my nap and started searching for my phone that was ringing.

I finally found it under one of my pillows but when I found it, it wasn't ringing anymore and I started to get some messages.

I opened my phone and went into WhatsApp and saw a bunch of miss calls from one of my best friends/cousin (Anela) and I called her back on video call

First thing I heard when the line connected was her favorite song playing (I luv this shit by August alsina) and her singing it infront of the camera.
"Hear big singerrrrrrrrr"
"Yea girl a mi a the next Beyoncé eno"
We both laughed at her response
"You know seh you nuh righted at all" I said after our laughter died down
"You just a medz dat?" She answered
We started laughing again
"Anywaysss a nuh dat mi call you fah" she said breaking our laugh
"Mi call you Fi talk bout grand market tomorrow"
Bombooooooooo, grand market a did tomorrow???
"A lie yah tell gyal" I was in pure disbelief
"No girllll A TOMORROW!!" And she started twerking and dancing.
"Mi cyah wait fi hot up mi self tomorrow"she continue saying
"Well mi Neva Memba a ting" I said shaking my head.
"Boy oh boy poor you, it coming like seh yah one granny the way how you easy fi forget things" she said laughing
"Ello leave mi and mi old self alone yer" I defended my self.
"Well anyways, weh yah plan Fi wear tomorrow?" She asked
"Mi nuh know eno but mi have one new out fit weh mi get delivered Wednesday from SHEIN and it nice you fret" I answered
"Ok ma mi have my things sort out already so you know the pree" she said smiling
"Ok, weh we ago tomorrow Fi grand market?" I asked because mi hear seh najeeriii and mi man BAYKAAAAAAAAA ago deh a junction and mi nuh sure mi wah miss dat but at the same time mi would want to go ville or Santa.
"Mi nuh know eno but mi did a think Fi go either Santa or junction weh mi bae ago deh" she answered me
"1BAYKAAAAA" we both say at the same time.
"Dat mi did a seh too but mi go junction last year and mi Neva yet go Santa so mi did a pree there so" I said
"True, so Mek we go there so then" she agreed
"Alright yah come ova or mi come a you Fi we get ready tomorrow?" I asked
"Mi a come ova you so mi can hurry you up because you tek too long Fi get ready" she said
"Alright" I answered

Then we changed the topic and started talking about something else.

"Ok ma later" she said
"Yea b later" I answered before I hang up.
I looked at the time and saw that it was after 1 in the morning and I shook my head realizing that we were on the call for so long.

I yawned and decided that I was gonna go back to sleep but I felt the need to pee so I got up and went to the bathroom and pee.

Then after I finished peeing I wiped myself and washed my hands then make my way back to my room and I laid down on my bed and closed my eyes and in no time I was asleep again.

DEC 23,SATURDAY 9:10PM (GRAND MARKET)

I woke up feeling tired this morning and I yawned and stretched as I got up out of my bed and make my way to the bathroom to do my morning routine.

After I finished that I head to the kitchen and I saw that my mother made breakfast so I didn't have to.

When I finished eating I texted Nela to see what time she is coming over.
"Hey boo, what time are you coming over?" Read
"Hi ma, I will be over at 4" read
