It has already been 3 months ever since you had been voted to be the secretary for the student council. You weren't usually the type of person to be a strict or uptight leader, but it'd be nice to be able to put a big role on your portfolio when you go to college.

When you applied for a position in the student council in P.K. Academy, you of course, expected a lot of work. You do hope it'll be worth it since this is your second-year, and you've made good friends in your first time as a student in this school.

"Y/N?" You snap back to reality, quickly shifting your eyes to the student council's vice president, holding a clipboard. "Yes?" You reply like you weren't startled by his voice.

"The principal wants us to keep an eye on students who have had academic difficulties in the past," he says as his fingers glide through the page, probably searching for a specific name.

"I thought we were only in charge of school events and clubs?" the treasurer asks. "Yeah, it was a surprise to me too, but it's good to have a little more responsibility. The principal says we'll truly have an impact on the students."

Hearing the student council members talk to each other ignited this sense of loneliness in you. Though it has been 3 months already, it still feels like everyone's on their own. It doesn't feel like a team to you. You sometimes even forget their name.

"As I was saying, Y/N, you're in class 2-3 right?" the vice president asks, and you nod. He squints his eyes while scanning the papers on top of his clipboard. "Here's a student in your class we want you to keep an eye on. His name is... Aren Kuboyasu."

...

It's been so long since you've last heard that name. One year ago, the year you broke up with Aren Kuboyasu, feels like it was three years ago. Of course, the school wants the student council to be aware of Kuboyasu.

You're aware of his history as a delinquent and quite violent man, but that didn't stop you from dating him at the time. You loved the security and protection he gave you, even ending up losing your virginities to each other.

"Oh, hey! This is perfect. Your desks are assigned next to each other. This way, it'll be easier," the vice president innocently smiles at you.
