Percy's POV

As I was falling I summoned my armour and waited for the end but it never came, instead I was covers in a slight black haze which seemed to make me float. Then a disembodied voice said "Perseus achilles Jackson why do wish to meet me again"

"Tartarus" I identified with recognition, pulling riptide out to watch in fascination as it warped as it changed to a 4 foot katana wreathed in aqua fire.In my other other hand was a similar sword but gasped when it turned out to be a famous Indian talwar.Immediately Tartarus appeared in his human form and started bowing and grovelling like there was no tomorrow.

"Tartarus, why bow to me when with a snap of your fingers you could end me?"I asked with genuine curiosity.Tartarus replied" It is said that the one who hold the gifted swords could fade titans with a small flick, and defeat primordial like its an any other day thing.Defeating a primordial alone will give your their powers, please don't take mine.

Then I thought of a deal."Tartarus If you let me out of the pit,I will not Fade you."Immediately I was whisked away and landed back in the Empire State Building on the bottom floor. Before any prying eyes set firm on my armour and swords I wished it away.

As I thought on what to do,I immediately thought of mom and Paul, probably worried sick about me.I immediately ran to my moms house (can you do that I don't live in America so I have no clue I pretty sure its a very far distance but please go with the flow) I found the door open which was what alerted me, you see my mom never ever left the door open.As went inside a horrible sight greeted me.Mom and Paul were brutally stabbed and a note was pinned with the knife that took my parents lives.

'Hey half-bro, I needed to make sure nothing would stop me on my path of glory so I had to finish them off.I even made the mist so it would like you did it, yours sincerely Gabriel.'I sat there and unleashed the dam of tears that I had held.I cried and cried and cried until I had none left.Everyone had left me and I have nothing left to live for.Thats when I decided to start a clean slate and finish this one off...
