Hokage Office.)

Hiruzen had to make sure he didn't misheard what Michiyo just said. Did she just say she wants to adopt Naruto?

"You want to adopt Naruto?" He asked wanting to confirm what he just heard.

"Yes. Hokage-sama.. I adore the boy. He's almost like the son I want. Including his daughter Hachishaku. She seems like a nice girl. I've gotten quite used to her." Michiyo replied facing the Hokage with a serious expression that she was willing to take in both Naruto and Hachishaku.

Hiruzen thought about this. Just wondering could she handle the responsibility of raising Naruto?

The Boy does need a parental figure and she seems somewhat perfect for the role.

Jiraiya was hardly too invested in his spynetwork plus "Research" to care about Naruto at this point. Since both Kushina and Minato entrusted Jiraiya to be Naruto's godfather. After their deaths the toad sage didn't seem want to take responsibility and just left.

So why not? This could be a good thing for the boy in needing a mother figure.

"Well, Michiyo-San I don't seem to mind you adopting the boy. After all he does need a parental figure." Hiruzen replied he smiled up to her.

"Thank you Hokage-sama." She would walk off happy that she's done her job in finally adopting Naruto. She bet the boy will be excited.

Hiruzen watched her leave as went back to his paperwork. Wondering how things will be different with Michiyo raising Naruto.

( With Naruto/Hachi)

It was later on after the academy. Naruto and Hachishakusama went to see Anko for their training for the Genin exams are only three months away and Anko is teaching them everything she knows.

Teaching the two how to set traps, learn the art of stealth. Chakra control exercises and such. Hell Anko even taught them shadow clone Jutsu.

"good work brats, good work." Anko complimented

"Are we done Anko-Sensei?" Naruto asked with Hachishakusama standing besides him.

"Yes. For the day, let's go get some chow!" Anko would say with the two now agreeing.

Sometime later the group would be at ichiraku's eating some Ramen with Anko eating some Dango.

After eating their treat Anko went home while Naruto and Hachishakusama went to Michiyo's house.

( Michiyo's house)

The Door to the house would be opened by Naruto and Hachishakusama.

"Michiyo-San! Hiyama-San! We are home!" Naruto would say as Michiyo came into view along with her husband.

"Welcome to your new home Naruto-kun." Michiyo would say with Hiyama besides, making Naruto look up at her with confusion.

"New home- what are you-" He froze as it hit him, a glimmer of hope appeared in his eyes.

"Are you saying that I am!?-" He says but Michiyo beat him to it with a smile on her face.

"Yes. Naruto-kun. You and Hachishaku are adopted. I am your adopted mother now and Hiyama is your adopted father as well." Michiyo replied with a graceful smile.

Naruto instantly ran to her and hugged her.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you Michiyo- I mean Kaa-San!" Naruto says with tears of joy looking up at her smile with his own. As Hachishaku also smiled at her adoptive mother. As Michiyo hugged Naruto back seeing him smile suddenly Hachishaku joined in on the hug.

Hiyama just stood there watching his wife be happy that she adopted Naruto.

After that the new family would sit and enjoy dinner.

( One month later)

It's been a month with Naruto and Hachishaku being adopted by Michiyo. Their bond grew.

michiyo's husband Hiyama even bonded with them. He had come to terms with accepting them. Naruto gave him another chance but not Hachishaku. She still doesn't like the man.

their bond with Anko even grew who is still training them. Teaching them.

Right now Naruto and Hachishaku returned to their permanent new home.

"Hey Kaa-San! We are home! So what you up too?" Naruto asked noticing her and Hiyama packing up.

"We are going on a trip! Hiyama-kun got us a special retreat to a secluded area far away from the village. Just on the border of Fire country. You and Hachi-Chan are also coming with us. I've just spoken with the Hokage for permission to take you with us." She says with him smiling and Hachishaku also smiling.

"Good. What a great time we could have together!" Hachishaku spoke softly

"Well get packed we will meet you at the gate!" Michiyo would say with a warm smile.

"let me inform Anko-Sensei. She's coming with us too!" Naruto says as he summoned a Shadowclone

"Go tell Anko-Sensei to pack up and bring whatever she needs! We going on a trip!" He told his clone.

"On it boss!" The clone replied going out to do that.

With that Naruto and Hachi began packing their things for their trip.
