The bell rang and students quickly ran off with their friends. "Hey I heard they had a big karaoke place!" And "The cafe has so many good drinks!" Izaya pondered on the last part. He wanted to try out that big cafe in the middle of the campus main hub. But it was just so congested with so many third and fourth years. The school was on an island near the coast of China. It certainly wasn't owned by the Chinese government but after the war China had to repay Japan and America. And using the reparations from China the world using their brains made a world wide school. They had two long big bridges connecting it to Japan and China. And outside of school were a city, on the island. The whole place was called the "Hépíng district". Izayas family had lived on this island for a long time. The war was 25 years ago.

Izaya sighed. He knew that home was just outside. He didn't consider himself Japanese or Chinese or American or anything. He was just an average person living their life. As he can recall half of the gang is born and natives to this island. He can remember the sights of the construction men building this very school when he was very little.

Izaya felt a tap on his back, he jumped in his seat, lost in thought. It was Yui who stepped back shocked at his reaction. "Why are you so jumpy today?" She asked disgusted. Izaya frowned and grabbed his bag. "I was just lost in thought" the sun had turned to a creamy orange and had started to set. "Where's Katrina and Jaz?" He asked. Yui shook her head, "Jaz had a meeting and Katrina went to go look for clubs to join." She sighed and looked out the open windows. They caught a glimpse of the now purple and orange sea due to the sun setting. The peaceful cool air brushed the curtains moving them side to side. The campus was noisy but from up in the classroom it seemed peaceful. As if the world was spinning slowly. Izaya took a deep breath and stood up. "Hey? You wanna go try that cafe?" Izaya said as he walked past her.

She looked at him confused, "that's something out of character from you?"
"Naw I'm just super curious about the hype" he opened the door ready to leave.
They walked out into the empty peaceful halls of the school and slowly walked down the spiraling stairs of concrete. "Should we go find Naomi and then?" Yui asked.
"I mean you can but if you want to run around shouting out their name like an idiot you can" Izaya jokingly responds.
"Tsk, whatever"

They made it to the front and put on their outside shoes. Which is common in Japan and China, Izaya didn't really understand it though but it was nice he guessed. They both looked out of the school seeing the peaceful and quiet skies. Today was a slow day. "Man I can't wait for these three years to be over" Izaya yawned.
"You're not excited about it?" Yui asked
"Ehhh, not really, I mean we do have a super mall at this school" he shrugged.
"Well I think this place is nice, but I mean they're giving all of this stuff for free! Don't you think it's suspicious?" Yui asked
Izaya thought about it for a split second.
"Yeah, like today too! Where Aztec just left and the teacher didn't seem to mind at all."
Izaya could feel that sinking feeling in his stomach coming back again. He shook his head and took a deep breath. "Let's just get going"
------------------------------------------------------
They walked past through the crowds of people in front of the cafe and went inside. They see the lavish wooden tables and golden sparkling chairs. Mostly girls filled up the cafe chatting about their lives and looking at their phones. Izaya knew this was a mistake coming, he managed to reach the line to the counter. But the line nearly extended from the front to the back of the store. He turned to Yui who seemed frustrated and awkward in this situation. "This place sucks" she muttered. Izaya sighed and decided to walk out of the cramped place.

They just decided to relax near the fountain in the middle of the hub. Izaya leaned back and yawned.
"Too bad for those drinks" he said while yawning.
"I couldn't care less!" Yui said bitterly
"Ahh whatever at least we can relax now" Izaya stretched out his arms.
"If we keep doing this then our lives are going to suck" Yui kicked a small stone pebble.
Izaya looked at her with confusion.
"I mean-! If the class keeps on going the way it is then we're never going to learn stuff! And it's the first day!"
Izaya nodded at the frustrated idiot who had sharp glare.
"We couldn't even do introductions! And it's filled with punks and delinquents! And everyone keeps ignoring the teacher-!" Yui yelled, her voice strained.
"That's very out of character coming from you" Izaya responded teasing her. She simply frowned and looked at the ground.
"I'm just saying- if this keeps going then I might as well drop out."
She bit her fingers and squinted, her right hand curled up into a tight fist. So tight in fact that her nails started to bury deep into her skin.
"Hey? Today wasn't so bad!" Izaya responded. "It's just the first day, don't worry things will shape up, cause eventually most of the loud idiots are going to flunk hard and might drop out?" Izaya shrugged. Yui looked at him with a sour face. Izaya awkwardly chuckled in response.

Izaya sighed. "Well, I don't know what you're goimng through but it seems like you're concerned about how the class behaves, don't worry about it. Just focus on yourself for the time being the class doesn't affect who you are! That's how I do it" laid back and stared up into the sky. He knew something was chewing away at her. But right now all he can do is spew out hollow words to her to make her feel better.
"Yeah-" she sighed
"It's just a lot of pressure. From family and stuff but- I need to be in the best of the best." She looked at Izaya with a half smile. "That's why I'm so concerned" she got up from the bench and stretched her arms. Izaya scratched his head, "what was that about?" He thought. She had switched so fast.
He looked at his watch "well it's almost curfew, let's get going" he got up and walked back towards the dorms. But before he can keep going he felt a hand on his shoulder. And an ominous spirit behind him, filled with anger and murderes intent. He gulped and turned around.
"Just don't tell anyone about this ok?" Yui smiled deviously. Izaya quickly nodded his head. "Yes ma'am!"
