Unmarried, Non Engaged, Only Dating Couple

(Jordan's POV)
Today is the day of the gender reveal for Halstead-McGraw #2 yes we had decided that when we get married we will take both are last names and so we also decided any of our kids we have before we are married will have that last name. We invited my family and Hunter's family but Hunter's Mom and Stepdad said and I quote  "We will not come because we will not condone such sinful behavior from such dumb people". We knew they weren't just referring to us but Hunter decided to be the stand up man he is and say "Fine then If you and Jonny won't support my new family I no longer wanna be apart of yours Marsha". Apparently that was all it took. Hunter no longer talks to his mom and Stepdad. I told my dad about that and when I did he said and I quote "marry that man Jordan because any man willing to not only stand up for you but also for your family is a keeper"

We asked that everyone who come wear the color of what they think the gender is gonna be. Out of Hunter's Family his Dad wore blue, his Stepmom wore pink, his Brother wore pink and his Stepsister wore blue. His Stepsister and Dad said they wore blue because they figured since there were two boys in their family we'd have two. While his Stepmom and Brother said they wore pink because they think luck will have it that this one's a girl. Out of my family My Dads Both wore Pink,My Brother wore blue, my Uncle Connor wore Pink, my Uncle Will wore blue and My grandpa Hank wore Pink. At first we thought we should do the same reveal as last time but then we decided it would be better not to. Since that was special because it was for lil tonio just like the outfits from last time we decided to do something different. So this time we are doing a basketball reveal. We set up a basketball hoop and now dad hands me the basketball. I now throw the ball making it swish and when it hits the ground baby pink powder comes out. I now drop to the ground crying and Hunter drops down and hugs me crying too. And much to my surprise so does little Antonio. After we compose ourselves we all stand back up and dad comes over and hugs me. He now says "congratulations Jordan I'm so proud of you". I now say "thank you dad that means the world to me". After we get done hugging Antonio now comes over and hugs me. He now says "I'm so glad I get to see the amazing woman your becoming and the beautiful family your building". I now start crying and say "you don't know how much that means to me". After the party Hunter's family left except for his brother and stepsister. All of my family stayed to visit too. We found out his stepsister is moving in with Hunter's dad,Stepmom and brother till she can get a place of her own in Chicago. She is taking a job as a nurse in the ed at Chicago med. We also found out Hunter's brother is taking a new job as a police officer for the 21 district. Hunter's dad is a farmer but he's hoping to eventually be able to retire and his stepmom is a realtor. I now made the realization all of our family lives in Chicago. I mean we are both from there and plan to move back there after graduation. Since we are only in our second year though we have a while before we have to figure everything out. We don't mind though we are enjoying the life we are building together right now even if it's as an unmarried, non engaged,only dating couple.
