Imagine being in love with somebody that does not exist
...Delusional...
Memories of things that never happened
A piece of my heart was missing and somehow she had the exact fit
But who is she?
I can't even tell you what she looks like
Blurred puzzle pieces melded together showed the clearest image of what my imagination conjured up
The way she covers her mouth when she laughs...
I smile as I speak
I could describe her beauty but words aren't enough
A smile that makes me smile
The sun could go away and my world is still bright simply because she exists
Or maybe it's all in my head
I see myself reaching for her hands but it's like gripping the wind
I want to ask...
Do I make you uncomfortable?
"No," she says
Now I'm wondering if she says it because she doesn't want to make me feel some type of way...
Wait... who am I talking about?
Dang... the life of an imaginative overthinker right?
Just a walk-by
Just a glace
The sight of you is enough to make my soul dance
"I would love for you to join me"
We stand body to body
My hands on her hips
Lost in the sound of the words that leave her lips
Head on my chest as we rock like a boat floating atop the calmest ocean waves
Hold up... it's not real...is it?
My mind says this never happened but my heart feels it
Your presence has been my peace
Conversation or not
Dark days don't exist because you do
Wrap yourself in my love like you do your cardigan
It would protect you
Never neglect you
Always respect...who???
