Uzi had always been barely more than a social outcast. Her guess as to why she wasn't simply sent to her own sector of the colony so no one had to be around her was because of her father, which was more frustrating than being banished.

Maybe no one understood her, maybe they were just following after Lizzy and the other popular girls like lost puppies, or maybe everyone knew there was something deeply wrong with her.

Oddly enough there were two people who seemed to tolerate her; Thad and Doll.

Both of whom were odd candidates in Uzi's mind considering Doll was Lizzy's best friend, and Uzi suspected Thad might be Lizzy's brother, although she didn't care enough to actually find out.

Thad was...Well, Thad. It didn't seem like he had a reason to want to be "friends" with Uzi, but Doll was a...stranger case.

It's not like Uzi could just ask Doll what her deal was because her and Lizzy seemed to almost always be attached to each other. (Also, if Uzi DID get a chance Doll just stared at her like she felt sorry for Uzi, for whatever reason.)

Even with what seemed like the whole colony not liking Uzi, she didn't care. Because tonight, that'd all change.

Slowly but surely, Uzi had been making a weapon.

It had a malfunction in class, sure, but once she had the last part the Colony and the evil Murder Drones would be sorry. She'd earn the colony's respect and go down as a hero!...Probably.

She'd told Thad about her plan in the principal's office, so if she died while doing this maybe someone would care.

Flashing forward a little, Uzi found herself in a strange predicament.

The Murder Drone she had shot the head off of, N, was talking about the other members of the "squad" and Uzi was trying to think of a plan.

Just as she was about to say something about the fact they were literally in a spaceship, she heard something outside and the dreaded words from N, "Hey, they're back!"

Before N could even finish his next sentence Uzi was out of the spaceship and booking it. Unfortunately, the Murder Drone was faster.

Uzi felt something wrap around her leg and yank her backwards, which caused her to drop her railgun.

A metal claw dug into Uzi's shoulder as she was lifted up and met with the glowing yellow X on a Murder Drone's face. Its drooling mouth hung open in a wide smile, evil laughter escaping it as it raised a second hand, this one a sword.

Before it could strike though, a female-sounding voice called from inside the base, which Uzi realized she hadn't even run that far from.

"V! Get over here."

The Murder Drone holding Uzi groaned and yelled behind them, "Can it wait!?" It turned its attention back to Uzi. "I'm about to enjoy a de-LICIOUS little meal~" This one also sounded female.

"Just bring it with you," the other one sounded annoyed, and with a scoff the short-haired one dragged Uzi over.

"What, J?" She asked before looking at N confused. "What happened here?"

Uzi now saw that the other drone had long ponytails with bows and formal attire. "Synergistic liability over here must've tripped and knocked himself offline." Uzi looked at the ground outside. He had definitely NOT tripped, but Uzi couldn't shoot these two as well if she had no idea where her gun had gone.

N, unfortunately, saw Uzi and waved. "Oh, hey! Wait, V what are you doing to our new squad member?"

V, who Uzi assumed was the one holding her, shared a confused look with J, who Uzi assumed was the one with ponytails.

"New squad member?" the two said in unison.

Uzi laughed nervously before getting thrown onto the ground near J's feet. "Jeez, I knew you were dumb, but not that dumb," J said.

N looked confused. "What do you mean?" V groaned in annoyance. "That's a Worker, N."

N paused and stared at Uzi. "Hu--" he was interrupted by a heavy slap from J, and once he had rebooted and his optics were fixed, he looked down at Uzi again. "Oh...OH- I- uhh.." Uzi groaned and dropped her head face-first into the snow. "It's whatever dude, sorry not sorry for shooting off your head," her words were a little muffled in the snow, but J still took slight alarm from them.

She yanked Uzi off the ground and held the end of her tail to Uzi's throat. "How." Uzi stared at the glowing Nanite Acid being threatened towards her...The same horrific poison that took her mother. She gritted her teeth before responding carefully, "I...built a railgun. Sci-fi nonsense, whatever. I came here to get the last part, and it worked, really well. I blasted off his head. Also, you suck, bite me."

J cast a glance at V and with a nod, V opened her wings and flew off to find the railgun. Uzi scowled at J. "If you try and break that thing I'll rip off your stupid tail and stab you with it!"

J laughed deviously, "I'd like to see you try Shortstack." She turned her attention to N. "N! Make yourself useful for once and get something to tie this thing up. She's staying here until we figure out what to do with her."

N quickly agreed and set off to find some sort of wire or rope, leaving Uzi alone with J. Uzi could feel herself nervously sweating, which was weird and shouldn't have been programmed in her opinion.

After a nerve-wracking, funny because they don't have nerves, and rather intense half hour, N and V returned at roughly the same time. V's search was unsuccessful, much to Uzi's relief. N's, however, was not and now she found herself tied up in some random thick wire laying on the cold floor of the ship.

"Remind me again why we're not just killing this thing?" V groaned before facing Uzi with a devilish smile. "I'm hungry."

Uzi rolled her eyes in annoyance, an emotion she didn't expect to feel so close to dying but hey, the world is often strange. "That's what I'm wondering too, minus the hungry part," she said.

J, who had been messing with some sort of panel thing(Uzi couldn't get a good look from the floor), didn't respond for a moment. Then, with her back still turned, she simply said "It's a precaution. If that thing built a gun I want to know where it is before she goes anywhere," and then she went back to messing with the panel.

This response just got a shrug from V, who changed one of her hands to a sword and used it to sharpen her claws on her other hand. Uzi hit her head against the ground in frustration.

"So much for saving the world," she thought solemnly to herself. "Now I'm stuck in a stupid spaceship with these stupid monsters, and no plan to escape."

However, her eyes widened with an idea. It was incredibly dumb, sure, but still.

She glanced up at V and J, who had started talking about their recent catches and more importantly to Uzi, how they killed them. J seemed rather cocky about her schemes to catch Worker Drones, but V seemed to care less about how it got done as long as it was...well, brutal, to say the least.

Uzi noticed V casting glances at her every now and then with a slight smile and Uzi had to make sure it looked like she wasn't paying attention.

Eventually, Uzi felt herself get yanked up by her collar and was met with a metal-clawed hand from V, "Speaking of, I'm getting a little peckish. Can't hurt us if she's dead, so why keep her here when I can just--" She lifted the clawed hand and Uzi quickly blurted out;

"BECAUSE I KNOW WHERE MY GUN IS!!!"

J signaled for V to stop, and she begrudgingly did. Uzi slammed into the ground as V dropped her, only to then be thrust back into the air as J held her to her face.

"Show us."
