Chapter 4

~ 3rd Person POV ~

" O-oh my" Taehyung said while looking at him. Jungkook looked down at his feet awkwardly, playing with his hair. Jungkook wasn't even looking at him and it seemed like he didn't even want to be in the same room as Taehyung

" Anyways, come in Jimin," Yoongi said while grabbing his hand. Jimin smiled and followed him inside. Taehyung walked inside of the dorm as well. Jungkook looked at Taehyung before quickly looking away

Jungkook sat down on the black sofa, and grabbed a biochemistry book. . Jimin and Yoongi both were sitting on the bed, most likely flirting like they always do. Jimin looked at Taehyung and glanced at Jungkook, trying to give him an obvious gesture

Jimin was telling Taehyung to go sit down beside him

Taehyung already knew that Jungkook was very uncomfortable and Taehyung didn't want to make it any worst since he had already ran away from him earlier

" he is uncomfortable " Taehyung mouthed to Jimin. The mint headed male was currently playing a game on the Tv, giving Jimin a little time to look over at Taehyung

" it will be okay, just talk to him" Jimin mouthed, looking at Jungkook who was just minding his business and reading his book. This just proved that Jungkook just didn't like him

Taehyung took a deep breath and nodded his head and sat down beside Jungkook. Jungkook moved over a little and looked down at the Biochemistry book

" Um..what are you reading?" Taehyung asked as he looked at the book he was reading. Taehyung played with the tip of his fingers, hoping that Jungkook would at least acknowledge his presence

" I-it's my biochemistry book," Jungkook said quietly as he went back to reading the book. It seemed like he had no intentions of talking to Taehyung

" Um...what are the subjects that you like to learn about? What are you majoring in?" Taehyung asked

" I like to learn about Computer Science and biochemistry ...but I'm just majoring in Biochemistry" Jungkook said as he continued to look at the book. Not paying ANY amount of attention to him

Taehyung bit his bottom lip and looked over at Jimin. He needed help but it seemed like Yoongi and Jimin were in their little bubble. Great, now Taehyung was in this alone

" Jimin, could you come to the bathroom with me quickly," Taehyung said as he grabbed his hand and walked to the bathroom. He was panicking and he was so scared because Jungkook wasn't even talking to him or looking at him

" He doesn't want to talk to me. He doesn't care that I'm talking to him" Taehyung said nervously, picking with his fingernails because this isn't going well

Why didn't Jungkook want to talk to him? Did he have something in his teeth? Was something on his face?

" just try and talk to him okay? Just a little small talk, I'm sure he'll say something " Jimin said and Taehyung nodded his head and they both walked back into the living room

That didn't help at all, this wasn't going good

Jimin walked back over to the bed and smiled at Yoongi. Taehyung walked back to Jungkook and sat down beside him once again. He looked at the quiet boy

Taehyung looked at Jungkook. His muscles clung to his shirt. His messy black hair was all over the place, making him look hot. Taehyung couldn't lie and say that the boy wasn't attractive..he was so memorizing

" w-why are you staring at me?" Jungkook said once he looked at Taehyung. Taehyung quickly looked away from him and looked down at his fingers

" N-nothing, I'm sorry for staring. I was just zoned out " Taehyung said while laughing a little

Jungkook grabbed his books and walked to Yoongi's room. Jimin tapped on Yoongi's shoulder and pointed to his room

" I'll go talk to him, " Yoongi said as he smiled at the both of them before walking to his bedroom. He opened the door to see Jungkook sitting down on the bed

" dude, why are you being so mean to Taehyung? He is known for being nice and gentle to everyone " Yoongi said as he looked at him. He was wondering why the hell Jungkook was acting this way towards Taehyung

" I-I don't know, I don't associate myself with cheerleaders. You know how I feel about them" Jungkook said quietly and looked down at his book. He didn't mean to be mean to Taehyung but he just didn't want to talk to him

" But you do know that Taehyung has a personality outside of being a cheerleader right? I've told you that you can't generalize them like that " Yoongi said while sitting down beside him. He loved his best friend but, he didn't think he could watch him be a little rude to Taehyung

" I don't want to date him, I don't want to date anyone and no one wants to date a boy who has trouble even talking to anyone. I act like I can't speak to anyone " Jungkook said

" I know you don't want to get hurt but you can't generalize every cheerleader on that team. Taehyung is a really sweet person. I can understand you don't want to get hurt but, don't be so mean okay?" Yoongi asked

" But fifteen out of twenty all have flirted with me," Jungkook said as he tried to prove his point

" But five of them haven't flirted with you. Everyone knows I have a thing for Jimin, 3 of the people on the team are dating someone, and Taehyung just doesn't have a boyfriend " Yoongi said while looking at him

" Yeah...but all of the cheerleaders tried to g-get in m-my pants and I don't like it. I'm sorry if I sounded rude to him. Tell him I said I'm sorry but I'm not associating myself with him. That's why I'm staying away from him. I'm not getting hurt, not this time. So tell him to please stay away from me" Jungkook said as he grabbed his books and walked out of the room

" Jungkook" Yoongi said as he tried to chase after him but he was already out the door

" What's wrong with him?" Taehyung asked as he got up from the couch. Pointing to the where Jungkook ran out to

" Did I do something....?" Taehyung asked, immediately feeling bad for chasing Jungkook away, for the 3rd time in less than two days

" No, it's not you. It's just that Jungkook doesn't really like cheerleaders" Yoongi said honestly. He wasn't going to hide it from Taehyung since he wanted to be honest

" What? why doesn't he like cheerleaders?"

" Because most of the cheerleaders have flirted with him because he seems innocent or they've tried to get in his pants so he doesn't like being around them, " Yoongi said honestly

" Oh...well he shouldn't generalize us...I thought I was doing something bad " Taehyung said while frowning

" it's okay, you didn't do anything wrong. He'll come around, he is just a little scared. Just keep a little distance from him and let him breathe. He'll be okay" Yoongi said and Taehyung sat back down on the couch

" Don't worry Tae, you have an amazing personality, he'll come around, " Jimin said while poking his cheek

Taehyung smiled and nodded his head. He played on his phone and Jimin and Yoongi spent their time together

Taehyung's mind wandered about Jungkook...maybe he should just stop. He was making Jungkook umcomfortable so maybe it was time for him to stop

" Don't worry Jungkook, I'll take as much time as it takes for you to be comfortable with me, I'll just keep my distance" Taehyung said to himself
