Y/n and Barbara got back to the Belfry and relayed the message surrounding the book to Alfred, Jason, Tim and Dick. The five heroes were standing at the billboard, adding the files of Harley's little gift to Batman to it.
Barbara: [Puts sticky note on billboard] Wow, Harley's profiled some serious anti-social prisoners here.
Jason: [Spinning dagger in hand] Look, something's going on at Blackgate. We lean on that warden, we're set.
Dick: [Shakes head] Nah, these records go back centuries, man. The warden's new, doubt she's involved.
Y/n: [Tim tries looking at billboard] Involved or not, we've got to figure out why Harley wanted us to--
Barbara: [Stops him] Hold that thought, Y/n... [Eyes go wide] How did I miss this? Oh right, Harley's stupid system makes no sense.
Dick: [Tim looks through book; curious] Babs? Hey, Babs. What did you figure out?
Barbara: Hmm. They all got out on appeal. That's what Harley was tracking. In every case, key witnesses were murdered. Look, they were all pinned up with knives... Just like Langstrom. [Looks to Y/n] Right, hon?
Y/n: [Looks to billboard; realizes] Yeah. Yeah, you're right, babe.
Dick: Bruce was onto something.
Tim: [Picks up picture] Oh, I think I've got something! [Puts picture to billboard] Oswald Cobblepot. The Penguin. He's like everyone else in here... except he served his sentence every single time he was arrested.
Jason: Someone must've hung him out to dry. Might be he's willing to talk.
Dick: He runs the Iceberg Lounge now. Claims he went legit.
Y/n: [Looks at Penguin's mugshot; confused] Okay, but two problems. One: He's always owned the Iceberg Lounge, except not full ownership, just a place to sell his weapons caches. And two: He's influential in Bruce's life, not to mention he hated the Wayne's because he believes they destroyed the Cobblepot's.
Barbara: [Chuckles] Plus, he definitely runs more than liqour through that bar.
Tim: I wouldn't know. Batman would never take me.
Y/n: [Pats his shoulder] Good thing, too.
Jason: Now hold on a minute, L/n. If Tim wanted a fake ID, all he had to do was ask.
Dick: [Steps in] Oswald's dangerous. And we can't forget Harley's still out there. [Hands Jason mugshot] We have to be careful.
Jason: [Scoffs] Relax, Dick. We got this.
Jason takes his dagger and jabs it through Penguin's mugshot, keeping it steady on the billboard. In some ways, he was right, but Dick wasn't wrong. They needed to be careful when it came to Oswald Cobblepot.
The next day
Y/n left the Belfry and decided to take a walk around the city, hoping to get a little air after the situation at Blackgate. He walked around his usual spots to catch some alone time and walked to the diner. He looked at it and quickly walked away, remembering when Scarecrow made his way back into Gotham with his toxin. His stop went back to the last place he'd expect to be...
