Dani's POV

I walked out of the motel room and down the dark road towards the diner.

I decided to take the short cut through the alley. I walked down the dark alley when I heard a car stop. I turned around and saw a black SUV stopped at the entrance of the alley. A woman wearing all black got out of the drivers side fallowed by two big men. I started to quicken my pace as she walked towards me. She sped up also. I then started to run down the long alley, but she was faster and caught me.

She punched me in the face knocking me down. As I was down she pulled out a knife. She must not have powers! I started to use my magic but she stabbed my side. I lost all concentration and grabbed my burning side.

I was about to get stabbed again but out of the corner of my eye I saw two boys come into the alley. The shorter one emitted a light from his hand and evaporated the two men. Then he turned towards the woman and shot out a red light, it burnt the woman's eyes and she fell to the ground dead.

The taller boy ran towards me and put his hand on my stab wound. A little green light went through the wound and healed me. He helped me up and drug me to the diner.

We got into the diner and a woman about forty led us to a booth. Both of the boys sat across from me and stared at me. I took the opportunity to examine their features.

The taller one had light brown hair that was spiked in the front. He had brown eyes and looked like he was fifteen.

I then looked at the shorter one. He had brown hair that was darker than the taller ones, and it went down to his ears. He also had blue eyes and looked like he was twelve or thirteen.

Once they were done staring the taller one spoke up.

"Hey my names Deannel but you can call me Dean, what's your name?".

"D-Daniell but you can call me Dani" I stuttered.

"Hey Dani, my names Caspen but you can call me Cas" the shorter one spoke up.

"Hey, thanks for saving me" I replied.

"So your not freaked out about the whole eruption of light thing?" Dean asked.

"Nah, me and a few friends have powers also" I stated.

"Really? I thought we were the only ones" Cas said excitedly.

"Yeah, we're all staying in a motel down the road, do you wanna meet them?" I asked.

"Sure!" Dean replied quickly.

We got up and walked out of the diner and headed back to the motel. I can't wait to introduce them!
