KARASI | CHE
Marietta, GA.
i am so sorry for what is about to happen
conspire 💔.

THE ENDLESS RINGING both karasi and che heard coming from his nightstand was plentiful. they were in between the limbo of sleeping and not sleeping.

with chase's arms wrapped around her, karasi felt him breathe into her hair, letting out the occasional snore. his hand was under her, pressed into her side, and she felt him squeeze the flesh of her waist to make sure she was still there.

it was a habit he developed now that things started getting serious. this was the first time they'd officially "slept" together.

her slow high was certainly coming to an end, and it saddened her knowing she'd have to go back to the comforts of her own bed soon.

this valentine's day showed them a lot. his gifts to her, her gift to him, and much more. even a blind person could see they were getting serious.

with his eyes shut, chase slowly stroked karasi's head that nuzzled itself into his neck. this moment felt like heaven to him. all because she was here with him.

however, the singing from their phones did not want to let up. he'd learned to tune it out, but after a few minutes she took matters into her own hands.

she removed her head from in between his neck and raised her arm from his clothed chest. she touched everywhere on the nightstand in attempts to find her phone before her wrist was pulled back to its original position.

"go back to sleep" he quickly mumbled with his eyes closed, bringing her wrist up to his mouth and leaving a small kiss.

karasi smacked her lips. "someone's texting me.. or you. i don't know, and it might be important" she attempted to get the phone again.

she was met with the same result this time. "just chill 'n sleep. stay here with me" came from his mouth.

she didn't know if it was the sleep or his consciousness talking, but she noted that it was sweet. she knew she had to check her phone for a split second though.

"i won't leave, i'll be right here. i'm just checking the phone. i promise" karasi's sweet voice assured him, slowly leaving chills down his body.

those words had multiple meanings for him.

she grabbed the familiar device, and made the screen illuminate. to her surprise, there were no notifications. she was sure it was her phone dinging.

next, she picked up his and clicked on it. he had it to wear it only said notification and not the real thing, so she lightly tapped the boy.

"chase" she whispered. no answer. "chase" she tried again, shaking him a bit this time. "chase?"

he let out a groan before turning to face the other side of him that was karasi. she turned the bright screen his wa, causing his eyes to rapidly blink.

"it's 082906. my birthday" his eyes shut again before pulling her waist closer to him and forcing his head inside her neck.

this girl slowly blinked. she wasn't expecting him to give her the password, she was merely showing him the phone to let him read the messages himself.

she typed it in, granting access. she went straight to the green messages icon, smacking her lips when she saw that 2 group chats were the ones causing the noise.
