The gymnasium was instantly filled with an overwhelming silence. A silence so quiet, yet so loud. The students in 2nd grade 3 class, who had formed a circle while talking to one another all turned around to find the source of the voice.

"What's wrong? Why do you guys look like you've seen a ghost. Come on, i've been gone for like two days."

Mi-Sun breathed out a slight laugh. She directed her gaze onto the floor as she bent down to set her heavy bag full of sports equipment and the sandwiches on the floor.

Still, getting no reaction from her classmates, Mi-Sun straightened her back and only managed to catch a glimpse of An Na-Hee's crying face as the girl fell into her arms, almost sending the both of them to the floor.

"Mi-Sun-ah!" The girl in her arms sobbed like there was no tomorrow as Mi-Sun was filled by concern,  trying to console the girl, "What's wrong, Na-Hee-ah? Don't cry, okay?"

Like a dam that broke loose the other students started approaching Mi-Sun. However, amongst the crowd she couldn't help but focus on Kyung-Jun's battered, yet worried face who approached her, gently grabbing her shoulder, "Mi-Sun-ah, are you okay?"

Mi-Sun, who was surprised at intense look in his face couldn't help but stutter, not able to take her eyes off his face, "Oh me? Uh- yeah i-i'm good."

Jun-hee, her fellow class president had relief written in his face as he approached her, cutting through the murmurs, "Guys, please calm down, now that Mi-Sun is here, Teacher Jo is certainly going to be here too. We're all going home," he turned towards Mi-Sun, "Right? Where is he right now? Is he parking the bus?"

At that Mi-Sun, who was still entranced by the boy and his warm hand on her shoulder, turned to Jun-her in confusion.

"What are you talking about? I thought teacher Jo is with you guys. What do you mean he isn't here?"

Jun-hee's smile fell as her words registered.

Kim So-mi was the next to approach Mi-Sun as she pulled Na-hee away from her embrace and tightly gripped your naked shoulders. "What do you mean he's not with you?," panic was evident in her voice as she started screaming, "Then were the fuck is he? Fuck!"

"Yah!," Kyung-Jun ripped So-Mi away from Mi-Sun, "don't scream at her like that." His intense eyes bored into So-Mi's, his voice low and brooding as he stared down at her, intimidating her.

Mi-Sun still as confused as before, as finally Yoon-Seo decided to put her out of her misery, going in between the two students glowering at one another. "Guys let's calm down for a second and sit down, alright?"

Kyung-Jun just shifted his glare from So-Mi to Yoon-Seo, before it finally landed on Mi-Sun, softening. "Whatever," he said while walking back to Mi-Sun's side, sitting down next to her, resulting in the other students to follow his suit.

Mi-Sun stared at her fellow classmates, one by one, scrutinizing their facial expressions, waiting for one of them to break character.

"So... Who came up with the idea to prank me?" the girl laughed dryly, "I'm just asking because joking about our classmates death- that's not funny to me."

Yoon-Seo was the first to react this time: "It's not a prank, we're being serious. Didn't you see Sang-Hwan and Hyun-Seok in front of the building?"

Misun just looked as Yoon-Seo, disgusted to see her participate in the joke, "Even you, Yoon-Seo-ah? Wow guys, i get it that you're upset about setting up everything by yourselves, but trust me, i also didn't want to come in the first place. Teacher Jo called me this morning to tell me i have to."
