Chapter 16

Tae's POV

Soon we reached the resort, Yoongi hyung and Bogummy hyung both went to park the cars while Jimin helped us to check-in.

"Ok since there are not many vacant rooms available, we have to share them. " Jimin said.

"Since Sooyeon and Saerim are the only girls here, they would be sharing one room " he continued. And for the others, they would randomly choose any key and since here every key has pair so this is how your roommate would be decided" he completed

Sooyeon and Saerim took the keys for their room and went to their room.

Now it was time for us boys to choose a key. We chose one by one and now it was time to check who is our roommate. "Tae, you go first " Jimin said and I nodded. "My room number is 540" I said and everyone checked their keys.

I waited for someone to say that he was roommate. "Umm.." Jungkook hesitantly said and showed his key which was displaying the numbers 540.

He was last person here with I wanted to share a room right now. I swear, I am gonna kill Jimin afterwards.

Author's POV

There was awkward silence in the room. Both of the male didn't dared to speak a word. The both quietly started to unpack things.

Now the question arises that where would they change. It was not a big question as it can easily be solved by communication but that's the main problem.

Both of them were very awkward with each other.

Finally Tae got the courage to speak. "You can use the washroom first if you want, I would go after you" he manged to speak.

"Ok thanks, I would try to change fast" Jungkook responded without any eye contact. He went inside the washroom. Tae laid back on his bed and sighed heavily.

Things between them were so normal before, but now they can't even maintain an eye contact. Sometimes Tae can't help but wishes that he hadn't kissed him that night in The Ferris wheel then they would've still been friends but now he can't do anything about that. Now he can only just think that only if he had controlled himself and his feelings. The opening of door interrupted his thoughts.

He immediately straighten his posture. "You can go and change your clothes " Jungkook said who just came out of the shower. He still wasn't maintaining any eye contact.

And Tae had it enough, he thought to confront him about it. It was not like they seeing each other for the first time after whatever happened between them.

They sit on the same and now they even study together so why was he being awkward like this.

"Jungkook " he called but only got a humn as a response and no eye contact. "Look at me Jungkook " He said with no emotion in his voice.

Jungkook froze on his tracks, he definitely didn't expected this from the older nevertheless he turned around but didn't lifted his eyes.

"What happened Jungkook, why aren't you looking at me? I know whatever happened between us was far from normal but it isn't the first time we are facing each other. We are in the same class even we are in the same bench we face each other every day then what happened now? " Tae took a pause before continuing "Even on the car we were normal but now what happened. You are so confident in school and always talks with with eye contact so why are you being like this now. Please Jungkook, I know, I did very wrong with you but please I can't handle all these. "

"Do you think I can handle all these, huh?? " Jungkook bursted out with shaky voice and teary eyes.

"Do you think, I can handle these, let me remind you Mr. Kim Taehyung I was the one whose heart was broken not you. I was the one who begged you to not leave me not you. And if you're talking about me being confident in school then that's just a way of me not to burst in tears. In the classroom also why do you think I always sleep or bunk class? Just so I don't see your those eyes. "

He can't take more now, his legs gave up and he collapsed on ground.

Taehyung was quick to catch him on time. He cupped his cheeks while wiping his tears. Now even Taehyung had tears in his eyes.

"I was never able to se-see in your eyes you know why? Because those eyes of yours always reminded me how made the biggest mistake of my life by falling for them, by falling in love with you. " those words were enough to break Tae's heart into pieces.

But he deserves it all. Everything he did in the past was needed and important for him and Jungkook both.

He cried silently as he remembers those words.

'If you don't leave that pretty boyfriend of yours then I would report him to the police, saying that he manipulated my son and I have heard that, that single mother of his doesn't even have that much money to hire a lawyer '

He hugged the younger male in his embrace. He won't let anyone harm his Kookie, he would do anything for his safety even if it means being hated the person he loves the most.

But the problem was the heart wrenching cries of the younger who thinks that Tae had never loved him or he doesn't care about the younger's feelings.

But in reality the younger is the person whom Tae loves the most in the whole world.

That's all for today's chapter. It showed a bit of their past. The next one would be a flashback too maybe. I would post a bit late because of my exams.

I had a blast of sad music in my headphones for writing this chapter as I wanted to feel their pain.
